Wow, this version of Great Outdoors sure did immensely better than last season's version! Our Great Outdoors contestants managed to walk away with $259,998 in cash and prizes, altogether. We even had a 3-2 Bonus Round record, which is certainly better than the previous few weeks. Highlights from this week include the 3 Bonus Round wins, the $45K Bonus Round win on Wednesday (which also happened on my birthday, and made up for a low-scoring Main Game), and a few humorous moments, such as the T's failing to show up on Round 1 of Thursday's game, and James' wife leaping into his arms after winning the Mazda in the Bonus Round on the same episode.
Next week is Veteran's Week, and if we remember from last season, it was quite an infamous week due to the two $100K Bonus Round losses, and one of the contestants missing the Million Dollar Envelope by one wedge, despite winning the Bonus Round. Hopefully, the Wheel of Fortune will be nice and respectful to our Veteran contestants, this time, as they really deserve it for their service.
