Well, this was certainly quite a week! Our Veterans took home $292,452 in cash and prizes, altogether. This version of Veteran's Week improved significantly over last season's version, especially since we went 3-2 this week in the Bonus Round. Highlights from this week include the 3 Bonus Round wins, especially the $45K win on Wednesday, Carolyn's almost $30K win on Friday's game (and her Express Run, as well), and the tight match between yellow and blue on Thursday's episode.
Next week is Home Sweet Home Week. The last time this theme was used was back in Season 33, and it was everything but sweet, especially since we got skunked. We've been avoiding Mr. Skunk, lately, so I hope this streak can continue.
On behalf of the Buy a Vowel forum, I want to give a big thank you to our Veterans' Week contestants for their service. And thanks for redeeming last season's version!
P.S.: Happy Birthday, Pat Sajak, and thank you for your service, as well!
