Well, thanks to Friday's Bonus Round win, this wasn't too shabby for our first ever Happy Thanksgiving! Week. Our Happy Thanksgiving! players managed to bring home $209,996 in cash and prizes, altogether. ($203,996 if you don't include the additional $6,000 given on Tuesday's episode.) Highlights from this week include Rick's amazing solve that saved us from the skunk, Sonja dominating Thursday's game, and Whitney's $20K plus round on Wednesday's game.
I liked the idea of a Thanksgiving themed week for Wheel of Fortune, and I hope that we continue to see this themed week in future seasons to come.
Next week is European Vacation Week. Just like Home Sweet Home Week, we previously saw European Vacation back in Season 33. Last time, European Vacation was an up and down week, with big main game wins (including one episode where the Main Game winner had $60K plus BEFORE the Bonus Round), yet only one Bonus Round win.
Will next week's European Vacation be as memorable (and hopefully a little better) as Season 33's version, or will it be as bad as National Lampoon's European Vacation? (As in the trip in the movie, not the movie, itself.) We'll just have to wait and see.
Note: This will also be the week where we see the return of Immani from Season 34.
