After stumbling across these videos showing what appears to be a new version of Wheel that has the same title as the Romanian version, I looked for more information on which country is going to have it. That country is Moldova, which is northeast of Romania. By the way, I have good reason to believe MarioGS will enjoy watching both of these videos.

How neat that they used clips of the U.S. version- specifically... clips from MarioGS's episode, and the third million-dollar win, too!

Well, there you go. Anyway, MarioGS came across this video over at Instagram and told me about it. So a big thanks to you, Robert. In the video, I noticed a couple wedges laying on the Wheel's center, notably one with what appears to be a plus sign. It may possibly be their Free Spin wedge. http://instagr.am/p/B2guTwkBnIC I also saw this over at Instagram, and it appears that the some of the set's backdrops are very similar to ours. http://instagr.am/p/B2g5Nashix4 After checking the video and photo out, I noticed Moldova's 30-wedge Wheel is using many of the values that Romania's version currently uses, with 1500 being a notable exception. Romania's version also used 800 recently, although it appears they no longer do. Nonetheless, I notice what appears to be a space valued at 800 at the far side of the photo. I also notice a couple spaces marked zero, and that's something I don't recall Romania ever using in the history of their franchise. But what really stood out to me are the two Faliment spaces and how each are colored, one like our Bankrupt and the other like our Lose A Turn, and I'm left to wonder what this may mean since Faliment is Romanian for bankruptcy but also means failure. Do they act the same or, for a possible first in the entire franchise, are they colored differently because they have different purposes?

The series apparently premiered recently. Clips of it can be seen here. Most of the music cues and sound effects are the same as the current American version.

I watched a couple episodes, which I'll provide below. New episodes air once a week, but despite being on for an hour, it's very slow-paced with some variety show elements here and there. Here's the rundown from what I'm getting. There are six rounds, but three of them are Toss-Ups. Vowels are treated the same way as consonants. Every round starts with the person who solved the previous puzzle. Regular rounds offer a 500-lei bonus. Scores are never kept safe from Faliment spaces. Rather, they just carry over to the next round.
Round 1: 800-lei Toss-Up Round 2: 1500-lei Toss-Up Round 3: Regular Round Round 4: Regular Round Round 5: 1500-lei Toss-Up Round 6: Regular Round
Round 6 is the most crucial round because whoever solves that round's puzzle is declared the winner while the other two contestants receive parting gifts. Unlike most versions, the winner does not need to have the highest total at the end of this round. They just need to solve Round 6's puzzle.
Whoever solves Round 6 uses their winnings to shop for prizes. After that, they have a choice to keep whatever prizes they bought or give them back to spin up for a potentially bigger prize in the Bonus Round. The Bonus Round consists of three words in a crossword-like fashion all in the same category. The contestant choose any of four letters. The letters can be consonants, vowels, or a combination of both; it doesn't matter. Whatever letters the contestant chose are put up, and they have 45 seconds to solve all three words. If they're right, they win what they spun up. If not, they win nothing but I feel certain they still get the same parting gifts as the other contestants.

The pacing of this version is painful. It takes as long as two minutes to get through one spin and letter call.
