I must say, this season's version of Rail Tour did improve a lot over last season's version. Our Rail Tour contestants took home $232,418 in cash and prizes, this week. Our highlights from this week include Monday and Thursday's Bonus Round wins, Thursday's Bonus Round being a Million Dollar Bonus Round, Thursday's and Friday's Triple Toss-Up sweeps, and Tuesday's $5K Final Spin, which resulted in a come back win for the contestant at the blue podium. There were a lot of BANKRUPTS all throughout the week, but the highlights made up for it.
Overall, January was pretty nice to us, this time around, since we had a handful of Bonus Round wins, no big losses, Bonus Round shutouts, etc.
Next week is Great American Cities: South Florida Week. Unlike our Great American Cities week back in in November, this week will just focus on South Florida rather than focus on a different city for each day of the week. Also, as the name of the theme implies, we are going to have contestants from the South Florida area all throughout the week. Season 34 had a similar theme and concept, and was met with lukewarm results. We'll have to wait and see if this season's version can top Season 34's version.
