Toss-Ups: No sweep tonight, as two different teams split the money $5,000-$1,000.
R1: The common letters are coming up duds this round, so this thing makes the rounds and doesn't earn a lot of money (other than in the unclaimed Jackpot). Could've been worse though, we could've had a bunch of penalties too.
R2: A good spin first for the trip is followed by a Lose a Turn second. We also get a repeated vowel in the course of events, so this round is sinking fast until the successful Mystery flip! The Same W goes completely uncalled, as do the D's, but that $10,000 prize makes up for it.
R3: So much for the Wild Card and Smart Car half that the yellow couple held - the MDW knocked those out. The red team solves early with only $2,850 in cash... they must be hoping for the trip to be big money to make their score swell.
R4: Our blue squad is still putting up a valiant fight despite not getting a big prize boost, but time is running out for them and so is their Wheel luck as they Bankrupt. The red team will make a house-minimum solve and allow us to move on to a fifth round.
R5: It's a quick speed-up with the minimum value - the yellow team falls short of the win, but they add $2,600. We have multiple $10,000-plus winners and everyone has at least $5,000, so that's not bad.
Bonus: CDMA are absolutely worthless - BGHO was the big winner yet again. Somehow I pulled this out at the very end of the time, but they just had no chance whatsoever and so no Mini Cooper.
Overall: Decent winnings, but meh gameplay. A 6/10 rating, mostly based on the money.

R2: This round was pretty ugly until Kim & Mark's second chance. Nice job winning the $10K! Don't worry, Pat. We understand why they didn't go for the W's. R3: ♪ I can see all obstacles in their way ♪... Yep, they had the Wild Card, so we knew what was coming. It has now been Bankrupted every day so far this week. Why is this not surprising? -_- R4: Stupid spingle! R5: Nice teamwork by the yellow team, but Kim should have realized they already called N. BR: Go figure taht CDMA bombs and BGHO completely dominates here... Did they seriously dub in a laugh track of all things when the answer revealed? -_- Of course, this is followed by the same old female-dominant "AWWwwww..." when Pat shows the envelope to the camera. I was rooting for the yellow team. Red team were good solvers, but after R4, I started rooting against them. Decent episode otherwise. Rating: 6/10

R3: I would've cashed in on those N's there, but Amanda & Shaun get to enjoy that Antigua trip, which pulls them into the lead! R4: For some reason I kept thinking the first word was BATHROBE until the M popped up. WTH is a BATHROBE SWEATER? At least Amanda & Shaun get to pad their lead a little. R5: Got this with the T's. I noticed Amanda & Shaun kept trying to figure out the answer after they called the H; thought they had it. Nice teamwork by Kim & Mark, though, and good to see 2 teams finish with five figures! BR: My history professor wears those! (Well, the ones she usually wears look more knee-high, but close enough. ) I was only able to figure out BOOTS. Dang, BGHO would've almost given them the whole puzzle! Well, gameplay tonight was okay-ish. I'd give this one a 6/10.

R2: The Sandals trip may be unclaimed, but yay for the $10K being won! R3: Well, here we go again -- WC and 1/2 CARs going to BANKRUPTVILLE. What else is new? R4: Yes, don't you just hate spingles like that? Then again, we're lucky to have a R5 this week. Bonus Round: Oh why did the Anderses go w/ CDMA?! Should've went w/ my favorite combo! I had that w/ the RSTLNE. When will we ever get a win this month? MY EP. RATING: 5 out of 10

Nice to see the $10K Mystery actually be won in R2. BR: The only good thing about their calling CDMA is that it gave me two spaces to fill in on my BAVGO card. If they wanted to actually win, BGHO would have demolished this puzzle. (I managed to get THIGH-HIGH, but not the last word because I watch too much anime and the last word wasn't "socks". )

I'm calling it. This is gonna be the first month composed entirely of BR losses, beating out March 2008 as the worst BR streak I've ever seen. I RSTLNE'd the BR. Also, for the record, I did not get up on stage at the Wheelmobile event here at Morongo Casino.

FLASHING A WINNING SMILE sounds kinda pointless to me. Why would you take all your clothes off for that? AMPERSAND!!! (Although technically, the alliterative nature of Same Letter doesn't really work with an ampersand or AND unless every word starts with A. Speaking of which, has a Same Letter puzzle ever had all the words start with a vowel?) The Bonus Round was definitely made for calls of BGHO, but they [RaulJuliaAsMBison]OF COURSE![/RaulAsBison] went for the typical CDMA. Eh, Mini Coopers are half a car anyway. This is the best name for a casino I've ever seen.

No, the Same Letter has never been a vowel. I don't see why they can't make it one when they use the category for Toss-Ups, though.

Even if you stole my "1/2 Car" joke (although I actually said it about the Smart Car).
