_ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _
Sprout & Roger first land on the $500 near the pink $900 and get three N's on the board. Two I's are quickly bought, and then the wheel flies over to $900 for a trio of G's. They then buy the only O and triple E's before the BANKRUPT on the right edge of the Million-Dollar Wedge stops them cold.
Laura & Spencer also BANKRUPT on the MDW, but on the left edge.
Georgette & Jessie safely hit the $800 spot for a couple of S's, then the Hawaiian Springs Water gift tag comes off the wheel by way of three T's. Next comes the $500 near the pink $900 for the B. The Sacayanans then buy the pair of A's, and finally comes $700 for two L's...

Georgette & Jessie avoid that fate, for little bit at least, by hitting $650 for two T's. Triple E's go up on the board next, followed by three A's. But then the BANKRUPT next to $3,500 catches up to them as it did the Ahunas.
Sprout & Roger go to the $800 space for a couple of N's, using the proceeds to invest in quintuple I's. $600 is next, where three H's are called, and then the O comes without a purchase thanks to Free Play, and that clears the vowels. The Hunts bought in bulk earlier, and now they sell a big lot of S's (five of them) on $650. Two B's come up for $900 each, then paired R's on $600. Free Play comes up again, where they get $500 for the K, and their "one more" spin is $500 near the orange $900 for the W...

Georgette & Jessie have a good number to start - $900 - but no money, because of there being no S.
Sprout & Roger pick up the Wild Card with three N's. But after buying a pair of E's, the pink BANKRUPT magnet lives up to its name, and the black wedge near pink $900 gets the rest of their cash.
Laura & Spencer finally catch a break, spinning up a $900 of their own and getting two R's. $550 is next, and four T's increase their score by a fair amount. They buy a couple A's and then make a narrow escape past the MDW to $700 for the H. The numbers just keep getting better from there - around next is $800 for the D, after which they buy the rest of the vowels (three O's, a U, and an I). Then the train horn sounds for the Express! They take the W, but (to the dismay of the audience) do not climb aboard. Instead, they spin again - and hit $3,500 for the G! At that point, the light finally goes on...
