Honestly, before airing, I first worried that GameShow75 was going to goose-egg, but that's a good cash total. Too bad Lee fell victim to the curse that seems to come with someone else getting a perfect round just before them.

This was a good game. My brain was stuck on idol/flag for the $2,000 Toss-Up and Lisa rang in before I had the chance to say, "Boo-yah!" again. Last night, I did say never, ever call anybody out as your worst enemy when you're inside the studio with the contestant coordinators. I really felt bad for Lee because he ran into some bad luck and was up against a good player like Lisa, who even proved that she can be just as good as I am or even better. To be fair, if he hadn't said that joke out loud, things would've been different. Anyways, I'm glad I got to be on the show. I knew my luck was going to run out since round 3. I'm kind of glad it wasn't me playing in the bonus round because I would've gotten in trouble for using one of George Carlin's seven dirty words as my four letters. I know I'll never get to shake Vanna's hand because of the once in a lifetime rule, but her autograph is still worth it. I'm grateful for taking home an all cash total because I recently moved into a new house and the money is definitely going towards some new furniture. We know this will never happen, but if they ever invite me back for a Favorite Players Week before they retire, I'd be honored to accept that invitation.

Also, had I won the main game, I would've shown Pat and Vanna the watch I had on. But if I ever get to see another taping, hopefully I get the VIP tickets since I'm a member if I plan on visiting California again, I'd like to ask if I could shake Vanna's hand and get my picture taken with Jim. Anyways, I'm glad Lisa was successful on the EXPRESS because I would've accidentally added an extra S for island had I solved it for the trip to Hawaii if I had known it.

When Jim Thornton saw me in the audience, he came over to talk to me for a bit and got to see my watch. He was definitely friendly in person and he, along with everybody in the studio, were all hooked on the catchphrase.

I will admit that I wanted to spin again to call the H, but part of my brain told me to solve this because I knew the puzzle after I flipped the $10,000 Mystery Wedge over and I could end up hitting BANKRUPT or Lose A Turn during the Mystery Round to give Lisa a chance to extend her lead. For round 4, my brain was stuck with IN/ON and it wouldn't have been enough to win, anyways. I was even more disappointed when the bell rang during round 4 because that meant Lee couldn't cash in and my heart broke into millions of pieces when Lisa couldn't solve her bonus puzzle.

Eugene, hats off to you for a game superbly played tonight! Your TU1 solve was probably my favorite moment as it showcased both your strong puzzle solving skills and your unmatchable enthusiasm (BOOYAH!) And it was educational to boot. Had no clue what a COLORADO BLUE SPRUCE even was. Found pics on Instagram and they're quite pretty! Interestingly several people on Twitter thought I was you. And I got goosebumps whenever Pat said your name as it sounded exactly like he had said mine 18 years ago! And I know I've joked before here about how indistinguishable we are. In all seriousness, yes, we have a few key things in common, but we have very different signatures, such as BOOYAH vs. ROH HO! And now for my other random thoughts: Couldn't help but laugh hysterically at Pat's remark in response to TU2, particularly because his Twitter profile still says he's an ICON. Lisa rode the Express beautifully after Eugene's heartbreaking Bankrupt. Speaking of which, Eugene, did you have any of the puzzle filled in before that fateful spin? Finally I got the BR, but only after Lisa's picks. Regardless, BOOYAH!

Eugene, you and Lisa were fantastic!
The last time I heard of that first Toss-Up was on the 3/17/2006 episode. And I thought the next Toss-Up was MY FAVORITE SHOW.
Glad you went for the right Mystery Wedge, Eugene. Too bad you hit that big BANKRUPT in the Prize Puzzle. $14,400 in cash feels like first place.
Lisa did a great job in Rounds 1 and 3, not leaving off any multiples. And interesting story of how she met Pat three decades ago. Lee...just didn't have much of a shot tonight.
But that Bonus Round loss was not good, that's for sure...
My rating: 7.5
Again, way to go, Eugene! Enjoy your winnings!

I only called a couple of consonants and vowels. I only spun again because I was still stumped on the Prize Puzzle and my name's not Emil or Robert.

Eugene you were fantastic! You were so fun to watch along with Lee and Lisa! Bummed Lee couldn't get his hands on the wheel more. You were lucky picking up that mystery wedge! Really happy for Lisa too, such a great gal! Congrats on your big win, you played very well

Yeah, like I said, I wanted to spin again to see if I was lucky enough to land on top dollar for the H's, but I didn't want to hit either of the penalty wedges, so I decided to solve it to get a main game puzzle under my belt and I needed that $10,000 to get new furniture. Thanks, Mary!

This was an incredibly fun episode to watch live in studio!
I enjoyed Pat's response to Lisa about having met her 30 years ago, and then again his response after her solving "AN AMERICAN ICON." Pretty freaking priceless! Haha!
I really liked seeing Lisa's strong first round, and then Eugene's mystery wedge win! Both were just very exciting moments to see in studio. And of course the Booyah-ing was just awesome, and Pat's response to the buying of the A in R3 was hilarious! The whole contestant section was busting up laughing! Painful bankrupt though to start that round after a couple of top dollar value wedge hits! Sorry, Eugene!
Lisa had quite the successful Express ride! I remember thinking at the time that she seemed cool & collected while doing it; a couple of times I noticed that timer ticking down before she'd call her next letter, but she kept her head in the game! Big solve, big round, just awesome!
With R4, when Lisa had control, I remember thinking it was "THE RUNT OF THE LITTER" although the T & N were already gone haha. So I was pleasantly surprised to see Lisa call K and then solve! Very nice!
Sad to see the Bonus Round loss of course, but Lisa still had a great night, as did Eugene!
I was able to go to Lisa's viewing party tonight... just like our awesome friend tuffy, she knows a lot of fun people! She had a couple of friends who had been on Wheel before; one in '89, and the other at some point in the '90s. It was fun chatting with them about their own experiences! I felt bad since during the bonus round, a bunch of people there got CUTE right away, and then one person in the room shouted OUTFIT! Everyone was yelling at the TV at that point! But no sweat! Lisa played it off great & was very humble & gracious about the whole thing! She talked to everyone there before the episode aired about her own background; about how she had been a fan of the show since the Chuck Woolery days and how she wasn't picked out of the drum at the Wheelmobile event either day... but that she got that final audition email in August & then ultimately was invited to be on the show! She seemed to me to just (like a good number of people I've met) be so grateful for the experience & the opportunity to get to play America's Game!
And of course, after the show (it was the third of the day) we went back to the green room for pizza. I remember Alex saying "I think Booyah could go viral!" I had a few friends who I told to watch the show tonight text me saying "BOOYAH!" Looks like it was a hit! Congrats again, Eugene!

I did chuckle to myself when Pat asked what the Latin phrase was for "Boo-yah!" and I remember saying that about 7 times and Pat said that 3 times, so mathematically, that was said 10 times. Thanks for the sympathy, Paul. I thought it was going to stop, so I could call another multiple, buy the remaining vowels, and if I knew it, I could solve it for the trip to Hawaii, but I'm happy with an all cash total because I don't have to worry about paying taxes for trips and the cash.

Eugene, you did us really proud. It's always fun when a prominent site member gets to have their time on the show. Your excitement was something that is now very rare in today's era of Wheel. And for what it's worth, Wheel said on all their social media pages that they loved you, too.

Thanks, Robert. When I was on the show, I kind of felt nostalgic by wanting to shout-out "Big Money!" because that's one of the parts I've missed about the show. I love everyone who made Wheel Of Fortune the most popular game show in syndication, as well.

Eugene, congratulations to you! You went up against a great player and looked like you were having fun all the way through. You may be embarrassed about what you did and didn't do, but people aren't going to remember you for that. That BOO-YAH was definitely memorable. Enjoy your $14,400! You earned it all.
PS: I owned the exact same watch around the time I graduated from high school. I don't have the watch anymore, but I still have the collector's tin it came in. Hmm...I sense a browse on Amazon or eBay soon.
