This Thanksgiving and Black Friday are chock-full of sports, some of which will get in the way of Wheel.
Thursday 11/23 (Thanksgiving)
Wheel of Fortune will be pre-empted on CBS affiliates in the Eastern and Central time zones and on NBC affiliates in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones.
6:00 PM Mountain airings of Wheel on CBS could also be affected if their game runs overtime.
CBS has the NFL Chargers @ Cowboys game scheduled from 4:00-8:00 PM Eastern.
NBC has the NFL Giants @ Redskins game scheduled from 8:00-11:30 PM Eastern.
NBC's Thursday Night Football coverage, which normally starts at 7:30 Eastern, does not begin until 8:00 on Thanksgiving, so Wheel will not be affected on any Eastern or Central NBC affiliates this week.
Friday 11/24
Wheel of Fortune will be pre-empted on all FOX affiliates.
7:00 PM Eastern airings of Wheel on ABC could also be affected if their games run overtime.
FOX has two sporting events lined up: the College Basketball Las Vegas Invitational from 5:30-8:00 PM Eastern followed by the Texas Tech @ Texas College Football game from 8:00-11:30 PM.
ABC has two College Football games scheduled from 12:00-3:30 PM Eastern and 3:30-7:00 PM.
If your market is affected, check your local listings to see if your station will be moving Wheel to a different station or time.
