The rest of Season 37's tapings are as follows. All pairs are Thursdays and Fridays except where noted. Note that these are subject to change at any time. August 28-29 (Wed-Thu) September 26-27 October 10-11 October 24-25 November 7-8 November 21-22 December 5-6 December 12-13 January 9-10 January 23-24 February 6-7 February 27-28 March 12-13 March 26-27 April 15-16 The final taping days are later than normal. Last season's final taping days were like a week earlier than this season's. |

Pat and Vanna will be shooting in San Francisco next week for a future Great American Cities week.
I find it funny that nearly all of the Great American City weeks have been in partnership with affiliates that treat or have treated the show unfairly (minus WLS Chicago), and of course this announcement came the day after KGO (San Francisco's ABC affiliate) pulled Wheel at the last minute after it was scheduled to air after the Raiders game, and replaced it with a local newscast but still kept Jeopardy!
- Seattle: KOMO does not air Saturday Wheel at all during College Football season, but they still air Saturday J!. Also, on Christmas Day 2018, they pulled Wheel from their post-NBA lineup at the last minute and replaced it with a rerun of blackish, but kept J!.
- Denver: On Black Friday 2017, due to FOX College Football, Jeopardy! was moved early to air in the afternoon on KDVR, but Wheel was delayed to 2:00 AM. Although to their credit, Wheel has always received equal or better treatment than J! since then, most notably that Wheel would get a make-good on Thursday Night Football days while J! would not.
- Philadelphia: WPVI pre-empts Wheel but not J! multiple times each season with documentary series "Philadelphia: The Great Experiment", holiday festivals, other local specials, and intentionally letting it get pre-empted by College Football overrun but bumping J! overnight in advance.
- San Diego: KNSD refused to air a Season 36 Secret Santa episode due to their decision to replace that episode with the same day's J! so they could air a local special in J!'s time slot. They did not air the Wheel episode at all, nor did they announce the winning SPIN ID's.
- Boston: WBZ pre-empts Wheel every Friday during football season for local show "Patriots All Access", then several more Fridays during the summer with an offseason edition. Also often airs local specials, holiday events, and mayor speeches in J!'s time slot which causes them to move J! to Wheel's slot and bump Wheel overnight.
- Washington DC: WJLA did not make up Wheel when pre-empted by the NFL Draft this season, but did make up J! (although as of lately they don't bother making up either)
- Nashville: WKRN pre-empts Wheel every Monday during football season with local show "Titans on 2", as well any time there is a Titans game, and several Thursdays year-round with local "News 2 Town Hall" specials discussing Nashville epidemics and controversies. They are even pre-empting an upcoming rerun from GAC: Nashville week.
- San Francisco: KGO does not air Saturday Wheel during College Football, but still airs Saturday J!. They are also totally random as to whether or not they will make up Wheel on days where it is pre-empted by sporting events, especially local broadcasts of 49ers or Raiders games, but they will always make up at least J!. During the NFL Draft, J! got slightly pushed back to 8:30 PM for two days, but Wheel aired at 10:30 PM the first day and 2:00 AM the second day, plus KGO re-aired those same two J! episodes the following Sunday night but did not do so for Wheel.
Of course the affiliates will always act super enthusiastic about promoting their home weeks, then go back to neglecting the show once it's over.

There will reportedly be a new Final Spin graphic this season. At the first couple of taping days, the Season 31-36 version was shown on the monitors. Presumably, it will be changed to this new one in post-production.

Oh really? I believe in Season 31, they used the Season 29-30 graphic for some of the first tapings. But they got a new one sometime before Season 31 premiered. And I noticed in some Season 31 episodes on GSN, I could see a little bit of the Season 29-30 graphic. So I think they will add the new one in post production.

As for Bahamas trips on the show, the remaining two reruns of Season 35, next week's Season 36 summer rerun week, and the first two Saturday reruns of Season 36 all do not have any of those. As for Season 37, I can tell you that the week of September 23-27 does not have any, but the America's Game episode from that taping, which airs November 14, does have one as the Prize Puzzle trip. Remember that an early Season 35 episode gave away a Prize Puzzle trip to Puerto Rico after a hurricane, and an explanatory caption was added on screen at the start of the copy. TPIR probably will change out a show in the early weeks, as will LMAD, if a trip to the Bahamas is offered. |
