Canadians after Mike Richards making Canadians eligible to be contestants on Wheel: Yep But seriously, I'm looking forward to what Mike has to offer for Wheel. And that change I said better happen sooner or later.

I'm glad the reactions to this change are mostly positive. I agree. Mike has come up with a few silly gimmicks, sure (some of which may not even be his idea) but he ultimately took what had become a SUPER antiquated relic of a show (one I loved to watch, but still, a relic) into something that will last many years on TV. He made Price modern but the focus is still on the contestants and games that made it great.
If anyone is thinking Season 38 of Wheel will be as awkward as 37/38 of Price, I have news for you...Pat and Vanna will still be there (and hopefully Alex, too!) That alone should smooth over the awkwardness of any transitions, because I doubt they'll take kindly to any super weird ideas. I do think Pat in general though will welcome the show being freshened up, as his boredom grows more and more noticeable every season.

I agree with most of the posts here. I think a refresh for next season will be good for both shows. As long as they aren't so far fetched that it loses their base that already exists. But some new ideas can make it more exciting.

Jeopardy should stay the same, at least while Alex is still there. The ratings have gotten a spike for J! recently as compared to WOF, mainly because of Holzhauer.

This is such great news! I mean let's face it, while nobody liked Mike back in 2010, he's the best man for the job right now. The part I'm most excited about is the fact that Mike has a history of listening to the fans. He'll have a whole season to observe what works and what doesn't on the current show; and I'll just bet he'll do some research and get a feel for what made the show work back in the day. Hint: It wasn't theme weeks... (if you're reading this Mike!) While I don't think Mike will completely overhaul the show, he'll probably start with trimming the fat off the edges and present a much more straightforward game like Jeopardy! I haven't been this excited about Wheel since 2012 when season 30 was approaching. Only this time we'll just have to be excited for a year. Thinking back to 2012, probably the turning point concerning how I felt about Mike occurred when I first saw him hosting The Pyramid. Not to mention the awesome 40th anniversary special TPIR had around the same time.
