Hoping for better luck, Christy calls up 3 T’s on the MYSTERY (next to $300) and takes the money for them (Good move, that was the BANKRUPT.). After that, however, is LOSE A TURN. Cari then calls up 2 $300 S’s, buys 4 A’s, gets a $300 R, buys 2 E’s, picks up the WILD CARD with 4 N’s, buys 4 I’s, calls a C on $550, an M on $800 (She almost got that LOSE A TURN.), buys 2 O’s to clean out the vowel shop, and calls a D on the other MYSTERY. She takes the $2,250 risk...and finds the money on the back! But after that comes the BANKRUPT next to $600 to have $11,250 and her WILD CARD blown up into smithereens. Ouch. Bob follows that unfortunate spin with 3 L’s on the unflipped MYSTERY, but that $3,000 is also taken away by that same BANKRUPT. Possibly fearing another BANKRUPT hit, Christy will end this round right now…
