Pat’s failure to remind Yellow about the Wild Card at the end of Round 1 nearly meant the difference in who would have won the game. Honestly, I kinda forgot that Lisa had the WC in R1. I would’ve probably done the same thing if I was her. It’s hard enough to be paying attention to so many things that sometimes, the person doesn’t remember that he/she has the WC. Exactly. Pat always has to remind people when it's a good time to use it, meaning that he plays a key role in its use, and he neglected to mention it at all. True, Lisa didn't have to use it, or she could have used it on her own, but it's not fair that Pat reminds some people to use it but not others.

Also, Lisa still wouldn’t have won the game if she did use her WC in R1 ($17,774-$17,600-$0) since there were only singles left when she solved it.

I’ve been dying to watch the episode because I couldn’t recall what specifically happened in that round but I do remember stepping down from the platform for a break right after that round was completed and saying to Jackie - I wonder if I should have used my wild card? After watching, I definitely wish that I would have guessed an S in the final round as opposed to L.... would have been enough to put me in the BR if everything else still happened the same way. Always easy to beat yourself up after the fact, but I’m still so excited I had the opportunity. Lawrence is highly intelligent and it really did shock me that he did not solve the bonus round puzzle, but as many others have said, that pressure is just so intense! Thanks everyone who had kind things to say about me!

Having been at this same taping week and having talked to Lawrence, this is very rude to me. I blanked on puzzles I probably could have easily gotten at home. I got this puzzle purely based on letter combinations alone, the term “flower boxes” is a term I am unfamiliar with. When you’re under the lights with the cameras on you, it’s a completely different ball game. If I gained nothing else from my experience, it’s that I have a much greater respect and understanding for the contestants on the show. You are right. I am thoroughly ashamed & embarrassed of myself for writing that comment yesterday. Sometimes moments like that could drill a hole in your brain. If I was a BAV staff member I would probably ban myself from this site for this comment after realizing the harsh nature of it. I cannot bring myself to make anymore comments on WOF Recaps on this site after this, so I am quitting BAV after a short two months. It's been fun, but I think I need a break from game shows because lately it's been more infuriating than fun for me to watch.

I too, would like to apologise for the harsh remarks. I admit that whenever there are bad results, I always tend to lose my temper and have my problems controlling it. I will try my best next time to control my temper and not use harsh remarks.

Lisa, for the wheel’s tantrum that you and your opponents faced, you fared very well!
Jimmy Fallon played another Founding Father, George Washington, on Saturday Night Live two years ago. Why the writers include these outwardly non-sequitur puzzles in Triple Toss-Ups is beyond me.
Now off to the gameplay. You and Lawrence had quite the match, Lisa. He was a great puzzle solver, but I sure wish you made a comeback in R4.
By the way, I no-lettered R1. And poor Glory. Had she solved R4 (she would’ve pounced on it), it would’ve been a five-figure match.
I got the first two words of the BR with RSTLNE. How Lawrence blanked on the last word baffles me, but sometimes, as stated, you just freeze.
Overall, this episode felt bizarre to me.
My rating: 6
Enjoy your winnings, Lisa!
