I’m 99% certain that Wheel and Jeopardy! are the only non-news syndicated shows that air new episodes on Thanksgiving and Black Friday and not reruns. I guess it’s wise of them to wait until a week that’s expected to have lower ratings to start pulling the old “OMGTOOMANYWINNERS” damage control. Wheel’s not the only show to be under damage control. Here’s my predictions:
- $100K will get hit again in December but it will be another loss
- The next $100K win will be in 2020 (whether in Season 37 or early 38)
- $50K will be won sometime between January and June for the first time in roughly two years.
- No more 5/5 weeks in the rest of Harry’s tenure, but at least one more 4/5.
- No puzzle with JUICY or QUICK will be won while Pat is still host.
