Just like with the Christmas reruns, the original air date is displayed in the bottom-left corner, and remains on screen until just before the Toss-Up wipe. No special intro, though.

^ Strangely, Canadian airings do not have the OAD caption. Recordings of yesterday and today's episodes from both YesTV and NTV are on YouTube.

The likelihood of the Carnival episodes airing in Season 37 just dropped significantly. Carnival's operations will not resume until May 11 at the earliest, and several ships will be on hiatus even longer than that. San Francisco will not have any sailings at all for the rest of 2020. http://instagram.com/p/B-XENCgFQLC http://instagram.com/p/B-cRFEqFFBE

^ Do you still think there is a chance it will air in Season 38, even though $37,000 was the minimum?

So after May 11 ships will still be on hiatus?

Unlike Summer and Saturday reruns, these weekday filler reruns do have new SPIN ID's added in when the Mystery $10K is won, as shown by tonight's episode. That was the only episode out of the three known rerun weeks to date that has a Mystery win.

If it does I would expect them to put a message in the episode saying it was originally supposed to air in Season 37 which is why the minimum is $37,000 instead of $38,000. They could consider it a Season 38 episode instead of Season 37

My initial thought is that they would've aired it at the beginning of the following season, before Season 38 starts. It would be the easiest place to air if this all clears up by then.

A friend of one of the contestants on the sixth episode of UK Getaway confirmed that it has not been pulled and will air this Friday as originally scheduled.

^ Yeah. They could replace one of the rerun weeks with UK Getaway. They have aired new episodes in the summer before. July 13-17 of 2009.

Seems kind of strange that they decided not to run these new shows (particularly the UK ones) but then during the re runs feature advertising for their behind the scenes website that specifically mentions things that were filmed as part of the UK event.
Basically they don't want to show it, but then mention it anyway... hmm...

The reason they did the "Behind the Wheel" webseries was because back in January, there was another UK week (that one aired).

I feel that there's no reason that these shouldn't air, given the jump in ratings that Wheel has enjoyed recently. I'm 90% sure that these episodes will see the light of day at some point, given that so many other trips not just on Wheel but on TPIR and LMAD (with appropriate disclaimers) have been awarded. I wouldn't be surprised if S38 starts production around the time is normally does, just without an audience, since by then we'll be over four months in, and by then, we'll have adjusted to the point where that special precautions could be done to still provide fresh episodes. That said, delaying these makes it easier for contestants to take their trips before any expiration. The two America's Game episodes of course can air at anytime within the same week with reruns of other shows. That said, especially for overseas trips, I wonder if there are any stories circulating about contestants on Wheel and other game shows who have their plans altered regarding travel, along with a special rule where an extension to claim those getaways due to the inability to travel? Also, will this pandemic force a change in prizes with fewer trips (Domestic only), and more non-trip prizes like shopping sprees and service prizes like house cleaning or free gas/haircuts?

I feel that there's no reason that these shouldn't air, given the jump in ratings that Wheel has enjoyed recently. The reason these aren’t airing is that the sponsors (Carnival and Collette) spent a lot of money to promote their businesses, and they are both closed. Impulse buying is a big part of these promotions, and I am sure these businesses would rather that the shows air when they are open and ready to welcome customers again.
