Yes! I hope this is true. This will be the first time in Nighttime Wheel that there are new shows in August. In July 2009 they had some special Season 26 episodes.

So it’s confirmed, then.  And Carnival Week of Fun! is now scheduled for August 31-September 4. However, this still leaves two America’s Game episodes (from the sets of Week of Fun! and Surfin’ Safari) in limbo. |

Both delayed weeks, especially Carnival, will conflict with NFL Preseason football. The 8/6 and 9/3 episodes will likely be pre-empted in several markets by the various games, as well as whatever reruns air on 8/13-15, 8/20-24, and 8/27-29. 8/6 is the NFL Hall of Fame game and NBC will be airing it nationally, meaning they will likely air a pregame show at 7:30/6:30 Central, which would pre-empt a brand new Wheel on nearly all NBC affiliates. Assuming the episodes will have sweepstakes, not a wise decision to be scheduling these for this time. Unless Wheel sends out a memo giving stations default permission to air the episodes before 7:00, but I doubt any stations will give Wheel high priority over local team pregame shows and such. This should tell Mike Richards that Wheel being forced to air at 7:30/6:30 Central is not always favorable. 9/3, Carnival week's Thursday episode, has the only Bonus Round win from that taping. A total of 16 NFL games are scheduled for that day, the final preseason week. |

Good to see these remaining weeks are finally scheduled.
Also, for those concerned about NFL preseason games preempting the Carnival cruise week episodes, the NFL has shortened the preseason to just two games which will begin on August 20 and 27, so there should be no longer be preemption concerns.

Google's listings have new episodes listed for September 8 and September 10 and they are both America's game episodes. Those must be the 2 episodes that haven't aired yet

^ They are very likely not going to air an "incomplete" week that is part new and part reruns if they don't have to. That episode probably won't air until production resumes. said this to me in the COVID-19 hiatus rerun schedule thread. If just 2 new episodes are listed that week then the other 3 may have to be reruns. If it's America's Game episodes that rerun with the 2 new episodes I predict it to be America's Game Week 4 featuring tonyscv and wheelmasterdaveI predict the week of September 7-11 to be this 9/7: 4/6/20 tonyscv9/8: New episode 9/9: 4/8/20 wheelmasterdave 9/10: New episode 9/11: 4/10/20 |
