Everytime I log in on my computer, the site takes forever to load. The same with clicking every link here. I have to use my phone to navigate.

Chrome is a RAM hog. If you don't have a decent processor and a good amount of RAM (and even an SSD [solid-state hard drive]), Chrome is going to be slow for anything you browse.
