Reggie Brown: Sherman Oaks. Comedic impressions, events, keynote speeches, hedge clipping. Basically, he's a clipping crusader (trimmed about 150 trees and bushes across SoCal) and a corporate comedian for the past 11 yrs. (performed as former president Barack Obama, now giving his keynote).
Jennifer Elizondo: Lakewood. Homeschool teacher who's married to another teacher named Doug for 16 yrs. w/ 2 kids (they love to go to national parks during the summer).

Closing Segment: We've done 12 puzzles this episode (6 rounds, 5 tossups, Bonus Round) and Vanna's simply exhausted.

Well, what a week this was! Our contestants took home $350,956 this week, which is already a record high. In fact, we gave more away than the last time we did this theme week ($310,105 - although that week did a bit better when adjusting to inflation). Highlights include those Bonus Round wins in the latter portion of the week, some $30K+ maingame totals, and extra time on Thursday's and Friday's episodes. This week didn't start off strongly as the first couple episodes this week were quite messy (Tuesday's got the Bear Stamp of Rejection). However, we were able to recover very nicely and end it on a really nice note - definitely a Road Trip  for sure.

Weekly Rating: 8 (orig. a 7, but brought it up due to the high weekly total)

Personally, this was just the craziest week that I had to recap. Not only did my station preempt 3 episodes this week (Jeopardy! also wasn't immune to this as well), I also had to deal with no internet for at least a day. I would also like to give a big thank you to 9821 and Kev for creating the placeholders for the Thursday and Friday episodes.

Next up is Weekend Getaways and I hopefully won't be late on those recaps this time around.
