Previously on Wheel of Fortune, Elaine Deslatte won the game with $22,900 in cash and a trip to St. Lucia even though it had some ugliness as usual. Unfortunately, she wasn't all that clean when trying to guess the bonus round puzzle of SIDEWALK HOPSCOTCH (Fun & Games, PGHO) so there went the $38,000. So far, a measly $121,757 has been given away so far this week. Can this episode somehow avert a skunking here? It all happens right here.

Not much help, but Steve still has saved us in about a second or two! After getting his hands on A HOT WOK, he finds...
...well, it won't be the keys to the Explorer, but I'm sure Olivia won't be that disappointed when she finds out that Steve has won the $45,000 for a final total of $62,200 cash & trip!
Closing Chat: Steve typically likes to call letters that people don't call often. Either way, it definitely worked out for him big time. Also, Vanna liked Pat's "manager" idea.
Personal Rating: 8
Well, thank goodness for Steve right there! This week, like the two before it, wasn't that great to begin with. Our contestants took home just $192,957 this week, which is another new season-low. Aside from Friday, I really can't think about any highlights that happened throughout the week. Well, there was 2 triple-tossup sweeps and a U2 song released a year before I was born, but that's probably it for the minor highlights. It's a shame that most of the games were pretty lackluster, contributing to the overall low weekly total. I should also notice that this is yet another week where R4 always started in Speedup mode (and we can thank the Secret Santa promos for that one).
Weekly Rating: 5
Next up is Ultimate Adventures and I am positive that we'll see much better gameplay as we move on.
