This is very exciting, I bet this is because Celebrity Wheel has been doing so well. I'm glad any Wheel is making its way online, even if it's just stuff from the last decade.

I wonder if Mike pushed for this. If so, I can't thank him enough for this finally happening.
If you go to it in the "New and Popular" section, there's a description for it. It confirms at least two weeks from recent seasons we're getting.
They'll probably add all the GAC weeks, much like how they reran them all this past summer.

Actually, someone in the Wheel of Fortune Alums FB group posted it first (Amy Kalani), the true credit goes to her for the original screenshot.

IF the deal is structured like Netflix' Jeopardy deal, expect 45ish episodes, refreshed every three months.
Almost all of the Netflix collections have been episodes from between 4-7 years ago, with the exception of one that featured every season premiere from the first 32 years (Except for season 1, which was swapped out for Pilot #2) and the "Best of Alex" collection that had a handful of episodes from the mid 2000s.

Took long enough for this to happen. Even if it's more recent episodes, it's still great to see, and hopefully it'll open the door for older episodes like what happened with Jeopardy!Speaking of which... one [Netflix Jeopardy! collection] featured every season premiere from the first 32 years (Except for season 1, which was swapped out for Pilot #2) Quoting because seeing Sony pull out the 1984 pilot - which had already been circulating for ages in varying quality - was one hell of a nice surprise, especially since I don't think it'd ever been officially acknowledged before then. And if Sony/Netflix can surprise us like that with Jeopardy!, they can certainly do so in many ways with Wheel.

My gut says they’ll be recent episodes just because of the music rights and all. Plus, with J!, even though they had many season openers from the last several years, the game was pretty much exactly the same with the exception of the set and dollar amounts on the board. Wheel has changed drastically in 38 years and while seeing shopping-era episodes would be a treat, it might make fans start talking about wanting shopping back, and we know how Pat feels about those days.

Such amazing news! Can’t wait to see what they show...even if it’s more recent shows at first I’m hopeful they’ll surprise us with some classics eventually!

A nice surprise to see Wheel getting on Netflix. I'm guessing it'll be the Great American Cities episodes from recent seasons like we saw reran this past summer, but maybe they'll eventually put some episodes going further back on.

25 episodes total, ranging from Seasons 34-37. Surprisingly, there are no full weeks; only four episodes at most from the same week. One thing that caught my eye was that they have all of S37's College Week except for Christian Dixie's episode. S36's sole $100K win is on there, but that's the only big win for now. Appears to be a random selection not biased towards episodes with Bonus Round wins or anything. Episodes are titled by their number rather than their theme week.

Some observations... Unsurprisingly, there are no episodes from sponsor weeks or Secret Santa, nor any of the S35 Disney World weeks. All plugs are edited out, but not as poorly as they were on GSN. Mystery Round fades in after the plug, though the sponsor's logo is still visible in the top-left corner throughout the round. SPIN ID's are obviously edited out. Retro Bonus Rounds are only half intact. The partial puzzle is still there, but the solution is cut despite Vanna still saying, "We'll give you the answer when we come back right after this." This was a problem on some GSN S31 episodes as well. CBS TVD and previous SPT logos are intact. Closed captioning appears to be mostly lifted from the original airings, but with some stylistic changes, such as more captions being on the bottom instead of the top, and Jim's voiceovers always being preceded by "JIM:", and the opening chant being preceded by "AUDIENCE:". As noted in the separate episode list thread, the 2/4/2020 episode is missing R3, skipping straight from R2 to TTU, resulting in a runtime of only 15 minutes. Other episodes run about 19 minutes. I reported the error to Netflix. Some of Wheel's menu assets were updated earlier today. The logo is now the proper two-row logo from S35-36 instead of being edited to be one row. Its icon has also changed to a publicity shot of Pat and contestant Yvette from the 2/5/2020 episode.

So I watched the first episode on the list for S37 last night. It’s one I had already watched when it first aired, but it was a blast watching it again. Happy to see that maybe they put some thought into their selections, and that Wheel liked my tweet about it.

The S37 episodes do seem like they were more carefully picked than the S34-36 ones.
