When was the last time a contestant filled in an entire puzzle by themself in any round other than R3?

Hated the TTUs. Just two random states that have nothing in common other than their letters, so it was tough to sift through.

R4 was terrible too, but thanks to the writers for designing my next furry hybrid.

POTENTIAL was easy, so of course he wastes all his letters above and picks none of H, M, or B to get any help down below...

Insane solve in R3 by Kevin. He was using that brain while Catherine was playing. Puzzle came to him and he was like "Forget spinning, I'm winning a trip right now." Reminded of Caitlin Burke's 1 letter solve back in 2010 but he didn't pull a Caitlin Burke though because it wasn't 1 or 2 letters.

Tight matchup tonight. Great comeback by Kevin also.

What a solve by Kevin in round 3, not quite the shock of I'VE GOT A GOOD FEELING ABOUT THIS, but still a surprise.

The Triple Toss Ups and round 4 Rhyme Time were um...interesting writing.

I knew POTENTIAL HOMEBUYER a few seconds after the RSTLNE were up. He had the potential to solve, no pun intended. Ugh, another $100k loss.

Man, this midweek game was decent – up until the BR.

Everyone did great, and it didn’t take much for Kevin to overtake Victoria, starting with his impressive R3 solve. That move shocked me.

I actually no-lettered CHICKEN in R1. But keep incorporating non-sequitur Rhyme Time puzzles, Wheel.

I got the BR with RSTLNE. I know the second word was solved back in 2012, but there’s no way Kevin would’ve solved that for the big one.

Now that the recap is up, I've wondered what the Crossword would look like using my template (I had no idea that Wheel would be adding crosswords at the time, though I was aware of La Ruleta de la Suerte using them). It's good to see the vertical words aligned perfectly.
