Has anyone caught the daily Wheel promos on their local station in the morning or afternoon recently? Not any generic promos, like the "Sounds Like Fun" one, but the ones that are specific to the episode airing that day or week. I know some stations would air them during daytime talk shows, but starting a few months ago, I'm now only seeing Wheel promos at 5:00 PM Eastern at the earliest. Since Wheel has an evening time slot mandate, I wonder if there is now such a mandate on the promos, too, which wouldn't make much sense since the J! promos still air during the day.
Last Friday, I checked every local newscast and syndie on WPVI Philadelphia looking for the Wheel promo that would undoubtedly hint at the $100K win. I saw the daily Jeopardy! promo a total of three times, but the Wheel one didn't air until 7:00. For much of this season, a Wheel promo would air on WPVI sometime between 9 and 11 AM, during either Live with Kelly & Ryan or Tamron Hall. However, it hasn't aired this early since December 3, according to my promo archive on my Clippit profile. WABC New York also doesn't air it during the daytime programming. As of recently, I can't recall ever seeing it any earlier than at some random point during the 5:00 news. However, I do recall WABC once airing a 30-second weekly promo during an early morning airing of Wheel's Saturday rerun.
I know of at least four affiliates that air the Wheel promos at set times at least 90% of the time.

- KTVT in Dallas, TX (CBS) airs them at about 6:22 PM Eastern (5:22 Central), during the second-to-last break of the local 5:00 newscast.
- WXIA in Atlanta, GA (NBC) airs them at about 6:56 PM Eastern, serving as the last commercial of NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, right before the "Inspiring America" segment that closes most broadcasts. It usually airs right after a Today promo.
- WPVI in Philadelphia, PA (ABC) often airs them right before Jeopardy! starts at 7:00 PM Eastern on the dot.
- WABC in New York, NY (ABC) airs them at about 7:24 PM Eastern, as the final commercial before Final Jeopardy! While the other three stations air the 15 second promos, WABC airs the 10 second versions.
If anyone here ever catches a Wheel promo earlier than when KTVT airs it, please let me know.
