From Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's game! Welcome to Far Away Places!
Today's contestants:
Hal Klein: Equity trader, from Boca Raton, FL
Sina Sonaji: Graduate at University of Illinois, mastering in public health and business administration, and wants to go into healthcare consulting
Karen Trimby: Plans to return to school for a BA in fine arts, hopes to own a studio art gallery; from Thornhill, ON
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. Remember that the Big Money is a lot closer than you think! Here's our first puzzle.
Perfection! Hal solves LIBERTY ISLAND.
Who'd have thought your score could climb so high? It can happen with the $3,500 and Jackpot spaces!
Karen reads what's on the board. Oh, what could've been, as she was close to the Jackpot...
We have trouble cashing in, but that still makes it easier for the $5,000 space to save the day.
DING DING! DING DING!
After an exciting but long round, it's time for Pat to give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $900 a piece.
Sina: N (DUD!)
Karen: L (DUD!)
Hal: S ($900)
Sina: H (DUD!)
Karen: M (DUD!)

Sina: Y ($1,300) (She talks to herself for a few seconds.)
Karen: C ($900)

Sina solves FIVE-DAY FORECAST.
BONUS ROUND:

Sina also wrote a poem for Pat!
I've been a Wheel Watcher since day one,
so let me play and have some fun.
Cars, money, Surprises, and more!
Chicago's got what you're looking for!
After the applause, Pat clarifies that the poem isn't actually how she got on the show. No "Nantucket" stuff, please!

Where did that sound come from? Well, we do know that Sina can score a $2,000 bonus by answering a bonus question...
Who was the woman to travel in space?
It's stuck in there, but she can't speak it. The name was Sally Ride.

In the post-game, Pat thinks that clothing choices for pregnant women might have been more limited just a few years, and Vanna agrees. Now, she's much more fortunate, and she thanks all the designers for the clothes she has worn on the show.
