From Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's game! This is Best Friends Week! It's Thanksgiving, too!
Today's teams:
Max & Dick: Possibly theoldest longest-running friends on the show, starting at the same company 35 years ago. Max is a great grandfather from Corona, and he is a construction manager for schools in southern California. Dick is also a grandfather.
Ricky & Ricky: Met 5 years ago at a barbecue, and differentiated by initials. "Ricky G." is from West Covina and just has a lot going on in his life. "Ricky W." is a customer service representative for an auto insurance company.
Laura & Jessica: Met 10 years ago in youth cheerleading, and are currently students at Towson University. Laura is majoring in early childhood education, and Jessica is interning at a health care company.
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000, which is thankful for the opportunity to help you win...even if only for a single round.
Laura & Jessica solve THELMA & LOUISE...and surprise! They've just won 4-night trips to Catalina Island worth $6,202!
Laura & Jessica read what's on the board.
"The work/return ratio" should have been a lot better. Maybe the $3,500 and Jackpot spaces can make up for it in this round.
Laura & Jessica solve JELLIED CRANBERRY SAUCE.
"The work/return ratio" improved, but we were still too slow. Pat must give the Wheel a Final Spin, and consonants are worth... $300 a piece. The red team starts!
Max & Dick: T ($300) (The ding sounds.)
Ricky & Ricky: S ($300)
Laura & Jessica: R ($300)
Max & Dick: N ($600)
Ricky & Ricky: L ($600)
Laura & Jessica: C ($600)
Max & Dick: G ($900)
Max & Dick break the sweep and solve CLOSE-KNIT GROUP.

The Rickys nearly had it that one time, but the Wheel had something against them. They finish with only the parting gifts.
BONUS ROUND:
Laura & Jessica are having such a fun time, but to come back on Friday, they'll need one more prize. Will it be the Camaros, the annuities, or the $25,000?
Feeling good about it, Jessica picks the L. Will they solve this puzzle?

In the post-game, Pat quickly explain this rule:
"By the way if one of our teams of best friends turns out not to really be best friends but just met in the parking lot before the show pretending to be best friends just to get on our show they will have to forfeit their prizes."
