Now that Wheel is in reruns during the summer what type of changes and/or improvements you want to see on the show for Season 39 and beyond. I hope they do road shows again. I would like to see them bring back some great theme weeks like NFL Players Week, Celebrity Week, Soap Stars week. I would like to see some team weeks again. My favorite team week is Best Friends Week. My fervent hope is for Wheel to have more viewers than Jeopardy. I would love to see Wheel reach out to younger viewers that way it can be a show for all ages. In addition, maybe some TV stations should adopt double airings of Wheel so it can have more viewers than Jeopardy. I know some stations have double airings of Jeopardy.

Road shows and team weeks aren't likely to restart for right now with COVID still not completely out of the picture. I'm not even sure they'll have an audience at least at the beginning of the season. I'm not a big fan of team weeks personally, but 1-2 road shows a year again would be nice. Maybe they'll be able to do them during season 40, I'd especially love for another New York City show set.
As far as the audience goes, I hope they will at least allow contestants to have family members with them. The biggest thing missing last season was contestants celebrating with family/friends after bonus round wins.

I’m not sure if Soap Week is ever gonna happen again considering that there are so few soaps left.

You would expect that audiences would be an option again, given that some shows (for instance in late night) that are taped the day they are on TV have them back now.
Of course, it might vary from one location to another.

Yes, I do think having an audience again is doable, especially if they keep the size limited a bit and require vaccination.

My fervent hope is for Wheel to have more viewers than Jeopardy. That will depend on who they pick as J!'s new host. I don't see this coming true if it ends up being one of the more popular guest hosts like Aaron Rodgers, Anderson Cooper, or maybe even Ken, even though Wheel did beat J! during his final week as guest host. And if LeVar Burton gets the gig... forget it.
In addition, maybe some TV stations should adopt double airings of Wheel so it can have more viewers than Jeopardy. I know some stations have double airings of Jeopardy. Doubt this will be the year this happens. If CBS Media Ventures is putting out anything new next season, like they did with The Drew Barrymore Show this season, there isn't much hope for "Wheel B". There's also no game show space opening up in syndication; no cancellations, I don't believe the 2018-19 Millionaire reruns are ending, and there is a reboot of You Bet Your Life hosted by Jay Leno coming next season. Maybe next season with the cancellation of Ellen that will leave an hour vacancy on schedules, there could be a chance. This is also the final season of Judge Judy, but CBS MV will continue offering reruns since it's still a very successful show.
A second Wheel run was considered for the 2012-13 season, but it didn't happen, and even if it did, the stations would have been specifically instructed not to put both Wheels back-to-back and not to pair the second Wheel with either run of Jeopardy!
The second Jeopardy!'s are counted separately in Nielsen ratings. However, the multiple runs of 25 Words or Less, Funny You Should Ask, and Family Feud are all counted cumulatively.

Remember that Wheel and J! were the first TV shows to cut off audiences once COVID first spread to the US. Part of the reason behind Sony's decision to do so was because their studio audiences skewed older, meaning there were more high-risk people seeing tapings of those shows rather than something like Jimmy Kimmel or Ellen. CWOF Season 2 already taped with no audience, and next season of Family Feud won't have an audience. If Wheel does bring back audiences, I bet they will require proof of vaccination at the very least.
If Wheel sticks to not having an audience, it won't really make a difference in energy, though. Not like Wheel audiences really showed much engagement in the game in the past 15 years anyway, although I do miss the family celebrations after Bonus Round wins. I would like to chance to go to a taping again, though, especially CWOF.
Bringing back remote tapings would take serious budgeting on Mike's part, if he even cares to consider it, considering they regularly stopped doing them five years before he came on set, aside from one special one that was mostly paid for by another company. I would love to see a special taping on location for Season 40, especially if Pat and Vanna decide not to renew their contracts after that season. Otherwise, if Wheel and Disney are still partners, more tapings from Disneyland or Walt Disney World seem plausible.
Regardless of everything, I just want to start hearing states besides California mentioned in the interviews again.

Personally, I don't care whose ratings are better so long as Sony picks a good host. If I were them, I'd narrow the field to Ken, Levar, and Mayim Bialik. Wheel would definitely win the sibling ratings rivalry if Sony picks Mehmet Oz, though.

Good point, other than the family members not being there with the contestant after bonus round wins there really wasn't much difference between having just the contestants from that tape day there vs a regular audience. I hope at the least they'll let contestants bring family members again.

During his time on Price, Mike Richards tended to rely on incremental visual changes season-to-season, usually culminating in a transformative change - yet familiar enough to the casual viewer - in just a few years' time. I think he will take that same mindset and apply it to the Sony shows he produces. I wouldn't be surprised if we see slight set changes next season (think along the lines of the CWOF set pieces that carried over to the syndicated series) and probably some graphics updates as well. Mike tends to balance ushering in a modern flair without disrespecting legacy, and I think that's something we should all be mindful of during his tenure on the show and with the forthcoming era of transition. In particular, watch what he does on J! and think about how he may apply those same production concepts to Wheel.

Generally speaking, TPIR tends to do gradual set changes a little at a time, with a few periods (1975, the mid-80s, 2002-03, 2007-08, the mid-2010s) where there's a noticeable shift that's enough to give it a revamp so it can really seem fresh. But as long as Pat/Vanna are still at the helm, I'd still expect production changes to be gradual.
Not surprised that Feud for the coming season is without an audience, since GA tends to lag CA/NY on vaccination rates. But given that J! was already bringing in non-CA contestants as early as the middle of this season, there's no reason why there can't be any contestants outside of CA.
In terms of gameplay changes, I doubt we'll see too much, but am hoping for at least one new element or reconfiguration to make the show seem fresh. It's been several years since a new category was introduced, and even if we just had "21st Century" or "The 2000s", it would help appreciate the younger demos.

Here are the improvements/changes I have in mind: - new opening title card (if not use the themed weeks in the open if the S37 logo gets reused again – most certainly we'll see a new title card for S40) - new design for the category strips - CWOF set gets carried over into the syndicated series (especially now that the third LED frame around the puzzle board was added) - toss-up wipes get redesigned (remember when they would receive new looks every 2-3 seasons?)
