APPLICABLE: Tuesday, Wednesday
I have one more SD show for y'all and this is the start of week 2 from the S20 edition of the Remote.
EPISODE #3881: ARMED FORCES WEEK FROM SAN DIEGO
Airdate: 5/6/03
The Marine Corps (Pat thanks the Marine Corps recruit depot San Diego, Marine Band San Diego and conductor Mike July, and the 12th Marine Corps District and Air Station Miramar) welcome the hosts to the stage - suddenly I can feel all of the patriotism entering my body.
Go!
J.J. knew he had to do PUSH-UPS AND SIT-UPS during training.
Kicking off the second week in SD:
J.J. Vojtas (Navy): Lemon Grove. Senior Chief Electronics Technician on the USS Bellawood (based right here in San Diego) who's served 21 years and still serving. Also married to Judy (she's also in the Navy) with 2 boys.
Sean Messi (Coast Guard): Long Island, NY. Boatswain's Mate 3rd class who's an elite law enforcement unit in San Diego. When he's not doing his duty, he's playing beach volleyball and surfing.
Jessica Wedington (Air Force): Redondo Beach, CA. 2nd Lieutenant who's a program manager stations at LA Air Force Base. She's married to Daniel with 2 kids.
Go!
Sean solves FLUFFY PILLOWS. Pat jokes about how he remembers that the most about his military days.
GIFT TAG: AMC
With Jessica's solve of TRAINED EXPERTS, everyone's on the board now.
DUDS: L (Jessica), M (J.J.)
LOSE A TURN: Sean
BANKRUPT: Sean
PRIZE ADDED TO WHEEL: trip to Laluna in Grenada + airJamaica airfare (marked CARIBBEAN) worth $10,000

Sean solves BICYCLE CHAIN OF COMMAND to gets us out of this mess.
DUDS: S (Jessica), T (J.J.)
BANKRUPTS: 3 (everyone)
LEFT BEHIND IN POT: $10,950
...and Jessica's suddenly credited with an additional $3,000 despite the fact that she didn't win the round and/or there's no bonus attached.

MYSTERY ROUND
I no-lettered this one.

...and Vanna appears to be frozen.
She's unsurprisingly silent the whole time and does not solve CIVILIAN...
...and we can't give her another $25,000. That sends Jessica out with $10,450.
The hosts acknowledge they're having a good time down in SD. This is also a very special week honoring the men and women (including Pat) that served.
