More than halfway through the year from September to September, there are still three $100K wins from Season 38 that have yet to rerun, yet six episodes and counting will have rerun twice. Three-peats used to be very rare; now it seems like any non-Secret Santa, non-sponsored, non-Tuesday episode has an equal chance of getting a Saturday rerun whether it got a summer rerun or not.

No Tuesday episodes have been picked for reruns so far, and likely won't be, due to the T-Mobile plugs on most Tuesday episodes. They finally picked a Tuesday episode. It did not have a T-Mobile puzzle, but did still have the T-Mobile Toss-Up wipes. However, there is nothing special about this particular episode. They're still avoiding the remaining $100K wins that haven't rerun yet, but they're still picking episodes from their weeks. |

muldo's episode, which was originally scheduled as part of S38's summer reruns and pulled for unknown reasons, is rerunning June 4. Looking back at that thread, I can't think of any reason the episode was pulled other than they realized they wanted to rerun Scott Kolbrenner's notable episode, but didn't want to keep it in its original Thursday slot to avoid pre-emptions on NBC's by the NFL season kickoff, so they just shoved that episode into the already-scheduled week rather than swapping out the entire week. There are only about 14 slots for S38 reruns left after this one.

Two June reruns in a row are from S38 Father's Day week. This is the first time I know of where two consecutive Saturday reruns are taken from the same week. It is also the first time since I began archiving reruns that a season finale has appeared in Saturday reruns; we've seen them in summer reruns before, and we've seen premieres. However, there is nothing special about this particular episode. They're still avoiding the remaining $100K wins that haven't rerun yet, but they're still picking episodes from their weeks. Looking back, one of the $100K wins was during a Margaritaville week, which not only had the usual bevy of plugs, but also promoted one of Jimmy Buffet's albums by playing his music during the credits. There could be rights issues with that for reruns, but there's no reason they couldn't swap that music for the previous or current closing themes, since it was only acknowledged in post by Jim. |

Tonight is the wrong episode listed. It is actually the America’s Game episode of College Week (Jack/Andres/Alena).

I forgot to factor in the fact that they did not rerun any eps with Mystery $10K wins. I removed six episodes that had them from the above post, leaving only 18 episodes that have a real chance of rerunning before S40 premieres.

Aaaaaand the final S38 rerun is a $100K loss episode, leaving half that season's grand prize wins in the "only aired once" club. AFAIK, no $100K+ win episode outside of a sponsor or Secret Santa week has ever aired only once until now.

And the rest of the first-run episodes of Season 38 will likely end up airing on Game Show Network or on Pluto TV or on any other streaming devices.

It's too bad that the episode from 1/6/2021 didn't get picked for the Saturday rerun either so I am assuming that the episode will likely end up rerunning on Game Show Network or it will likely appear on Pluto TV along with the rest of the Season 38 episodes.
