I was thinking about the announcement on the first promo of the new season that mentioned about the first-ever tournament. Has there been any updates about that yet? And do we know what kind of tournament it is?

Frankly, I think there's a possibility it may not happen since they never mentioned it since and Mike is gone. It was probably his idea since we know Pat was always vehemently against having tournaments on Wheel.

This is why we watch. Not only for the gut punch, but the random acts of insanity that make you cheer for total strangers, the brothers doing "YMCA," or the wife jumping into her husbands arms which led to the greatest ad lib between Pat & Vanna, etc, etc, etc).
There's a reason this show has been on so long.
I'll never quit watching. Hopefully, you won't either.
