Vanna's dress for this episode is listed as Wednesday's dress in this week's dress gallery on the website. It has Monday's dress as a solid blue sleveless dress.

If that's not a mistake, it's possible they swapped the shows around. Tonight's episode is pre-empted in LA, and Aaliyah was the only one said to be from the LA area proper. Darcy is from El Cajon, which is outside San Diego. David's hometown was never said, but he has a YouTube channel called "David's Kitchen LA" (easy to find him thanks to the captioning actually spelling his last name right), and in one video, he promotes his appearance and says, "It's on NBC here in LA". Either he is sorely mistaken, or he's referring to KMIR from Palm Springs and not KABC from LA. If he is from the Palm Springs market, it would make sense for them to swap the shows so that only one contestant gets pre-empted locally instead of two or all three. I only recall one episode from this season so far that had no LA people.

By the way, the meat of the maingame was spoiled in the promo.

They did. A contestant from tomorrow's episode (which was not swapped) confirmed this episode was originally intended to air Wednesday. Could it mean the new Wednesday/old Monday show has a big win that they didn't want pre-empted on KABC? 👀

In case they change the dress order on the site, here are the dresses in taping order:

Recappers and archivists, remember that when Wheel reschedules shows, they also change the episode numbers. They do not keep them the same as they were during taping like Price is Right does. Even though this was 7443 when it taped, it is now 7441.

This show was flying high, only to crash into the terminal at the end. Aliyah blundered with a big spin, when her normal small spin would have guaranteed her making it into the bonus round with the million wedge.

Instead, the spin resulted in one of the worst puzzle solvers I have ever seen winning the main game, missing a gimme puzzle in the BR and losing the 100k.

Also, allowing the contestants to do the final spin is such a potentially disastrous idea that will open the flood gates of controversy and arguing over what constitutes an "legal spin"

Poor Aliyah, she was flying high with a big lead and the MDW and then hitting the $5,000 on the final spin ends up being her undoing. For the first time doing the final spin ends up screwing the contestant. David could've gained a little more money with a letter call, but lucky for him he had just enough to take the lead and win.

Ugh, that bonus puzzle should've been solved. Of course it had to be the $100,000. Had Aaliyah made it to the bonus round and she hit the same space she would've won the million.

While the contesti were TAKING A WALK IN THE WOODS, I was RUNNING AWAY FROM A FREAK THUNDERSTORM.

Oh boy, this one was crazy...almost like the weather I had today. And big winner David really found himself IN AN AWKWARD POSITION (and I had that from RSTLNE as well) losing the big one.

My rating is a ??/10.

Not the best episode of the season. I mean, Aaliyah was on a roll until David stole the win only to make it to the Bonus Round and not solve the dang puzzle and win that $100,000. Here's hoping the rest of the week turns out to be better! Like I said, this wasn't the best show of the season thus far. This was a crazy start to our salute to national parks.

Just when it looked like Aaliyah would run away with the game and take the $1M wedge to the Bonus Round, David makes a great comeback in the Final Spin! I wish I could say the same for Darcy; she had bad luck.

I said PERFUME JAR for TU2 but I got R1 with just the N’s. I also solved the BR before David picked his vowel. AWKWARD is never an easy word, but the $100K loss made the puzzle all the more ironic.

And is it just me or did the intros seem really short?
