...so we can't clear out the $39,000. Pete still had a great night with $38,394 in cash and trips!

In the final segment, Vanna comments that Pat has a quaint home of his own. People think that TV stars have giant places, but Pat keeps it simple (especially the "east wing", the "quaintest" part). Vanna wonders if he ever goes there. He also says he's cutting back a lot...though he's joking about that, because his job is safe.

What a game by Pete tonight. 2 trips and dominance. The wild card and $2500 wedge helped him out in R1. Wish he could have solved that bonus puzzle. The maingames this week have been great but the BRs haven't except for Monday. All the BRs have been tough. Monday's was solved somehow. I had only one word out of the two of all BRs this week. Tonight I had HOME but not QUAINT

While Pete cleaned up, Miki played better than her score indicated, and I’m glad Courtney solved a Triple Toss-Up.

R2 was hard but I got R3 with just the N and no-lettered TTU2. I also nailed the BR with RSTLNE, and VACANT was actually a great guess by Pete.

My rating: 7
