I was thinking about some of the categories that have appeared on Wheel of Fortune between the late 90s and today like "CLASSIC TV", "ON THE MAP", "PROPER NAME(S)", "HEADLINES", "FOOD & DRINK", "IN THE KITCHEN", "RHYME TIME" & "FUN & GAMES" just to name several. And I've always imagined if those categories had existed during the 80s & early 90s, I'm sure it would have made the show even more interesting. So, my question is: Which of today's categories that have debuted between the late 90s & today do you think should have appeared during the 80s & early 90s?

Proper Name so it eliminated Pat's spiel about Person not always meaning proper name, On the Map to distinguish from other places, food and drink to keep those separate from Thing/Things, and Headline.

Of the categories that do exist, Living Thing is one that hasn't been mentioned but should have been introduced back then.

Here are a few others that come to mind (some of them are Primarily occasional today): "College Life", "Rock On", "Slogan" (maybe for 1992?), "TV Title", "Fun & Games", "Show Biz", "Around the House", "Movie Quote", "Movie Title", and "What Are You Doing?"

I like breaking up Thing/Things into the subcategories just so Thing/Things isn't overused. As for Title, I didn't mind it being used collectively for movies, TV shows, books, and songs too much. MarioGS, I believe the QUOTATION category used to include song lyrics, but yes it could've been good to use SONG LYRICS earlier as well as MOVIE QUOTE and TV QUOTE earlier on as a category to distinguish from quotes from speeches and literature.
