Actually, I take that back! THEY DO FABULOUS WORK (the producers) stumping people in this segment, but Felicia's outsmarted them for the $45,000!

Well, Latoya wanted to get a puzzle after what happened in Round 1, and I'm glad she did. Better to lose over $19,000 and still win $1950 than to lose over $19,000 and win nothing.

As for what Vanna said at the end, that was a pretty good one right there. It's like looking at an Elvis impersonator and yet it's Elvis.

^ I agree, this was a rough maingame. Latoya failing to claim $6050 and the Collette prize and Mike train wrecking on the express was depressing. That solve in Round 3 was impressive though, I was nowhere close on the first two words.

I was also stumped on the last two words on Round 1. I didn't get HORRIBLE till Mike called B and the B's of course fully revealed HOBGOBLINS.

I had the BR off RSTLNE. That was a great solve by her. I usually have a feeling when I solve a tough bonus puzzle that they won't get it but she did. If you watch her face right after Pat says "We're in agreement on that", you'll notice she made a surprised face there, meaning the puzzle popped in her head there. She won $45K also. That was amazing. That turned the game around

I guess they just come at random sometimes.

BR: Damn that was a great solve (though I also had it off RSTLNE like Jake)! I dunno which solve was better - Michael DiTommaso's buzzer-beater from 10/11 despite striking out in the letter department or Felicia thwarting a non-Phrase.

EDIT: figured out which show Mike’s a producer on (though it’s not mentioned on air) through a web surf. It’s a fun show I recommend giving a try on.

The front game wasn’t that exciting, but Felicia and Mike had a decent match, especially Felicia. She did a good job overcoming some bad luck early on.

I got R4 with just the T’s and the BR with RSTLNE. I thought Felicia would’ve had a better shot at the BR with the O’s, but she proved me wrong! Great to see a $45K win.

My rating: 6 7
