Unfortunately, she forgot that she called the B as she says HIDING BATS and FINDING BATS. The FINICKY CATS tore up the $39,000 Lauren could've won (she's a dog person BTW).

Pat actually admired her intention to go for BATS as he's not a cat person. Vanna's cat ain't finicky, though.

Other than Round 1, this was a pretty good game even though it wasn't incredibly high scoring.

I solved the third Triple Toss-Up just before HAPPY BIRTHDAY! was revealed.

The bonus puzzle threw me off, though. Not only was I stuck on plants or wild animals when I saw Living Things, but it really should have been singular.

I got it with her letters, maybe if she called C she might've had it. She shouldn't have been thinking BATS though, since she already called B.

Recap posted. Mecha kinda summed up my thoughts - a fairly decent game sans a bumpy R1.

Rich was pretty funny, but he barely could get the wheel a quarter way through...

The TTUs were definitely set up for quickfire solves.

BR: I also had BATS on my mind, but I did get it with her choices. It was kinda funny on why she was stuck on that animal given she's not a cat person.

Now, about the prize since I do live in the west. I hope they're flying between Vancouver and the Okanagan region, because there will be plenty to do...as long as you're not driving. Highways 1 and 5, the two most important routes between Kamloops and Vancouver, are damaged in some areas due to floods and slides. The news is saying Highway 5 could take a year to rebuild, but I haven't gotten many posts about Highway 1.

This episode was OK until Lauren picked things up with the Prize Puzzle. And I enjoyed Rich as well; he was a real sport.

I also thought TU2 was COSTUME DESIGNER, but I got the Triple Toss-Ups as quickly as the contestants did and R4 with just the N.

I figured out the BR with RSTLNE. Maybe the C’s would’ve done it for Lauren, but FINICKY is not an easy word to solve.

My rating: 6
