In the final segment, Pat asks if Vanna has ever won a Jackpot. She hasn't, and she doesn't really play the lottery. Pat's a sports fan, and you can't turn on a game without watching all gambling commercials. Maybe we could do that with Wheel! You sit at home and bet what next letter is being called. Pat likes this...and he'll see a congressional investigation in no time.

Cindy took such a long time with some of her letter calls that I'm surprised she wasn't buzzed out at all. And the time she took in the bonus round to choose letters... they've never buzzed someone out from choosing a letter there have they?

Pretty tough bonus, just couldn't think of JACKPOT. The A and P helped, maybe the C would've done it.

Yeah, this is one of those episodes where one round is where all a contestant needed to win…I wanted Jessie to win. She seemed really focused at this game unlike Cindy (no offense to her, though).

BR: Choosing that category is pretty much a recipe for disaster. I actually had that off the RSTLNE.

And no, jjc927 , they can’t buzz you out for taking too long to call a letter. Tony Harrison from a couple seasons ago (and another season from 2017; he was brought back from a ruling) took all the time that he could calling letters.

This was a decent episode to kick off the week.

While the PP mattered for Cindy to win, Jessie was a great puzzle solver, and it was awesome to see Peter win some dough in the latter rounds. Believe it or not, I no-lettered R2 and R4. But I couldn’t solve R5 until the last letter.

I thought the BR was JOINT ACCOUNT with RSTLNE, but I solved it with Cindy’s picks. Given she seemed nervous throughout the game, I didn’t think she’d solve the puzzle.

My rating: 7 6
