She gets the first two words and guesses FRESH AVOCADO BUN, but she does not solve FRESH AVOCADO DIP...

...and she can't quite take the $39,000. Amy leaves with $18,750 in cash and Gift Tag.

In the final segment, Pat says that Vanna's vast Hollywood holdings include acres of avocado trees. When her kids were little, they planted the pits, and who knew they would all grow? The animals don't eat the avocados, but they eat everything else. Since Vanna likes avocados, that's a good thing. Pat doesn't, so he's with the animals.

Not often do you see the word BOMB on the puzzle board.

Once again...when will they finally admit that they're tempted to use puzzles without RSTLNE in them? I did get FRESH and DIP, and I got AVOCADO with her choices. She nearly had it.

^There was a time when some bonus puzzles did not include at least one letter from RSTLNE, it was in the 90s when they sometimes used really short words as bonus puzzles (like ZOO).

Amy was... something. She did a nice job ending up winning the game though after the missolve then Bankrupt on her second chance in the Prize Puzzle round.

Fresh and Avocado were easy to get, but DIP was not easy to think of without any letters showing. CDMA actually would've been a good combo tonight.

You…got the spellings for the last names correct. Nice job.

About the game itself, R1 was good as well as everyone walking away with okay cash totals, but yikes at R2 & R3. I understand the former (~~waiting for the day a Taylor Swift tune is a puzzle~~), but the latter should not have been flubbed up pretty badly.

BR: Even though the category wasn’t generic this time (and I had it off RSTLNE), this was such a cheap way to get losses in (wasting F & H to make sure the bottom row is minimal on letters). God this show is so predictable nowadays…

This episode was a tad bit messy.

The women had a tight match, while Chaz made some … interesting letter choices (but earned a decent amount). But it would’ve been very notable if the PP trip was a SANTA ROSA. Speaking of that mishap, if only Amy decided to try to solve that puzzle instead of spin…

I thought TTU2 was MAKING DINNER, but I solved R4 with just the L’s. FARM was difficult to get in R1.

I nailed the BR with Amy’s picks. Maybe a D would’ve given her a shot at the last word.

Oh, and Amy’s introduction was hilarious.
