From the Blockbuster Desert Sky Pavilion in Phoenix, it's America's Game! Now to begin Family Week!
First pairs of the week:
Jenna & Lois (granddaughter/grandmother): Jenna is a high school sophomore from Cedar Lake, IN. Lois is from Topeka, IL, and in addition to being a grandmother, she's also a cat and dog lover.
Jessica & Jennifer (sisters): Both are engaged! Jessica is training to be an elementary school teacher in Flagstaff, while Jennifer is a manager at a women's clothing store. Both are from Flagstaff.
Wendy & Joe (sister/brother): Wendy is a mother of two currently living in Mexico City. Joe is the musical one in the family, specifically a singer in a valley band, and he's from Mesa.
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000. If only it could receive as much applause as our Arizona contestants. Maybe if you win a lot with this puzzle?
Jessica & Jennifer solve PRICE TAG YOU'RE IT.
For those who'd rather see some of the biggest scores, we're adding a $3,500 and Jackpot space to the Wheel right now.
Perfection! Wendy & Joe solve THIS FILM HAS BEEN RATED PG.
To maintain this show's G rating after such a game, we'll just let Pat give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants will be worth... $5,000 a piece! Jenna & Lois are still in this!
Jenna & Lois: N ($5,000)
Jessica & Jennifer: S (DUD!)
Wendy & Joe: T ($5,000)
Jenna & Lois: C (DUD!)
Jessica & Jennifer: D ($5,000)
Wendy & Joe solve DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY, and boy, are they happy!

PDFA includes some unusual choices...
...and maybe for a good reason. There's nothing here!
They do not solve COYOTE...
...and one runs off with the Winnebago. Still, Wendy & Joe finish with $24,350 and could return on Friday.
In the post-game, Pat thinks the second week in Phoenix is off to a great start. Pat wonders if Vanna says coyote with a long E. She does, and Pat does.
