I was able to get it as the three-and-a-vowel were being chosen, but shame we seem to have problems winning $100K on my birthday. Maybe third time will be the charm next year. I remember for three consecutive years the $100K envelope was landed on March 23rd (2009, 2010, and 2011, although the 2011 occurrence was a loss). So a $100K win can happen March 2nd of 2023. Nevertheless, despite some bad luck during the main game, everyone won something tonight, which is the least of a silver lining I could ask for.

Kelly wasn't the only one with a question mark in her voice when solving the second Toss-Up.

Sheesh, they were flirting with the Million-Dollar Wedge, but they just couldn't claim it. The Express crash didn't help.

I thought the first line of the Speed-Up would be YOU WON BY A, but I got it with the D's.

I got the bonus puzzle with his picks. He was quite close, but he couldn't get the last word. (Let's hopefully make up for this with a $100,000 win on a Friday this season.)

I was worrying we would have a similar situation to last night's round 2 but thankfully Matthew knew it and shut down any repeat of last night.

I got the bonus puzzle after his letters, but without any letters in JOY it was tough to get. Last night's round 2 and the $100,000 loss tonight, we could really use something tomorrow or Friday to pick this week up.

I guess all of the ugliness this episode mainly came from the Wheel itself, mainly during that PP Round (the show's staff was definitely banking on a T dud during that round). It was nice seeing a successful WC usage in the main game, though.

Oh, and I've heard about TU2 before since the show offered a trip there a few times before. I also no-lettered R3 with absolutely little confidence.

BR: I also needed Matthew's picks to solve it (thought it was going to be HEADING WITH YOU/HIM from the RSTLNE). Welp, a $100K loss on my side was bound to happen sooner or later this season. Le sigh...

This midweek game wasn’t much better, no thanks to a wheel in a terrible mood. I can’t blame Jorriel for just solving the PP after his run of bad luck. Other than that, Matthew played well.

As slowly as I figured out R2, I solved R3 just as fast (thanks to the hyphens, of course) and RSTLNE’d the BR. Man, the big one just had to show up (in a loss) after such a nasty front game…
