Caleb Reyes (Occidental College): Woodland Hills, CA. Kinesiology major minoring in public health who's also the pitcher (right-handed) on the school's baseball team (4 years). He also played at Dodger Stadium (L.A. City Championship) in his junior year at high school.

Caleb rebounded very nicely after the big round he could've had in round 1 was cut off by the R call.

Poor Lahari, very easy mistake to make saying DON'T instead of WON'T. That ended up being the difference in the game.

Second night in a row G would've been a perfect call for the What Are You Doing? bonus round puzzle. At least he did get the H with the Wild Card.

A near copy/paste trip puzzle calls for a near copy/paste reaction.

I thought SIGN LANGUAGE with no letters in the third Triple Toss-Up. Then I changed to FOUL LANGUAGE, not realizing that probably wouldn't be used in a modern puzzle.

I actually had just enough time to watch last night's game even though I was busy. I got both bonus puzzles with RSTLNE. Hopeful but let down both times.

(Also, I have to commend logicman27 for reaching 500 recaps in just a year and a half on the site. It takes a lot of time to make this happen.)

Holy crap! I never realized that until I've finished writing up this recap! Thank you so much!

Anyway, this was another good game. Not as high-scoring as the past two, but still very competitive. Only bad thing was that R3 missolve (that was definitely a coin flip).

Also, nice to see Scotland for the PP trip, even if the week's still squeezing the most from collette.

BR: Also got it from RSTLNE. Yet another case where the G would be helpful...

This episode was OK, but I’ll say that Lahari was a gambler. I bet she would’ve flipped the Mystery wedge, but DON’T was an easy mistake in R3. I was hoping Amaya would win a lot more and surpass her parents’ total.

Speaking of that round, take away the exclamation point and you’ve got a PP from January 2014.

I nailed the BR with Caleb’s picks. Once again, G was the key.

My rating: 6
