Harry Friedman was the show's EP for a good 25 years and left the show recently. His wife (Judy) and Pat's wife (Lesly) have the same birthdays (4/21). He didn't acknowledge it yesterday because he simply forgot it.

Fun show tonight. Close one in Round 2, but at least everyone won some money.

I got Round 1 with just the T's, but somehow I blanked on TEXAS in the second Toss-Up. I also missed on the Speed-Up.

Thankfully, I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. We got a perfect week!

Recaps will be on hiatus as of May 27, 2024 due to life changes.

Jason got really lucky picking the O for his vowel in the BR. Thanks to those Os, we have a perfect week! Just too bad we didn't get a home winner again.

I'll go ahead and say this was the best show this week, with the only flaw being a rocky R2.

It really helped that Jason was able to keep his spin power in control, allowing for generous payouts in the rounds that he solved.

BR: Hardest one this week, IMO, but I still got it off the RSTLNE. Didn't think a PBRW would happen this season, but it did thanks to those O's!

This BR in particular was really easy if you know anything at all about word patterns. If you don't, the setup does kind of beg you to call O, which will also help. I've enjoyed the downturn in difficulty this week.

Jason earned a lot of green on this Earth Day. I was hoping Jeevanjot would win more than she did, because she seemed like such a delightful contestant. (GOLD was definitely a trap in R2.)

Jason must have been aiming for the trip in R1. I’ve never heard of a LEMON SHARK until now, but I solved the BR with RSTLNE, as with the previous four. Way to give us a 5-0 week, Jason! 👏🏾

I wasn’t really expecting for this season’s edition of Home Sweet Home to give away a house like last year, but I certainly wasn’t anticipating a perfect BR week!
