They should’ve added AN to that puzzle, we’ve had EMBARK(ING) ON A ______ so many times over the last few years, so I don’t get why they felt the need to drop it here.

Speaking of dropping things, that was some clutch letter calling, a rare case where CDMA comes in handy. So glad to see that result in such a huge win, especially on a puzzle they were probably banking on a loss for.

Another mix of hits and misses for me with puzzle solving. I couldn't get all the Toss-Ups or Round 3...but I no-lettered Round 4.

I needed her choices to solve the bonus puzzle. But all I care is that it was a $100,000 win! So we're all balanced again. I'm 3-3, and logicman is 2-2. We still need a $100K win for genius in the next 6 Fridays.

Feel so bad for Mariann for that easy to make error in round 3. But it was also very nice for Chanelle to rebound the way she did, going from hitting Bankrupt after picking up the $10,000 in round 2 to winning the $100,000 in the bonus round.

Very impressive solve in the Speed Up.

We went from JUBILANT showing up in the bonus round last night to a WAYD puzzle with 3 Gs and A being the best vowel choice tonight. That's 5 $100,000 winners this season now, perhaps we can get one more before the season ends?

I was just thinking the same thing about the money graphics. I hope that's permanent. Although I'd love to see a recreation of the money graphics used from S19 to S23.

It looked like Ashish would come from behind after dominating early on, but was a pretty tough loss for him in the end. And poor Mariann. She barely got a chance to play and made an easy mistake.

On the bright side, I solved R4 when Ashish did, and I never thought I’d see the day when a Puff Daddy lyric was used in a puzzle. 😏

And then came the BR… I was thinking DAY JOB with RSTLNE, but I had no clue after seeing Chanelle’s picks. She impressed me with her instant solve, but I sure wasn’t expecting a $100K win! Phenomenal job! 👏🏾

(Thank goodness I didn’t get spoiled.)

As usual, big thank you to genius2751 for covering me while I dealt with my laptop dilemma.

Ashish was a good player, but it's a shame he lost due to Mariann fumbling up in the Trip Puzzle (and him spinning the minimum amount in the Speed-Up).

BR: For some reason, I kept thinking WAY despite that being used earlier this week. Impressive solve from Chanelle and even more impressive win (thank goodness I didn't spoil myself)!

(So basically, every main recapped covered a $100K win this season.)

8/10 (I was torn between that and 9, but I'll stick to the lower number.)
