Bre's not even close saying BOWLING and BALLING for the top word; she won't be BUILDING A GAZEBO with the $39,000. BRE’S FINAL TOTAL: $20,750 (all cash)Back in the shopping days, they would have a GAZEBO (and they did give away those in the Bonus Round). Kind of a flawed idea - which NYC apartment owner would want that?

Okay main game, and again a 5-digit Speed-Up.
I needed the B to get GAZEBO. It was an important letter, but it didn't take her all the way this time.

I figured out BUILDING A GAZEBO just before the buzzer. I was trying to think of something ending in -BY, but then thought -BO and it just came to me. But yes, that was very tough.
Funny post-show chat with Pat talking about how they used to give away gazebos in the shopping round and also as bonus round prizes.

This bonus round made me spit out my drink. Pretty blatant category abuse. I find it hilarious that $100k was won in the ep that taped after this one. They probably decided to ease up a tad bit for the end of the week to avoid a shutout, and got more than they bargained for...
Feels like it's been awhile since we've had a speedup juicy enough that a player could actually catch up with a non-5k spin like in this game. Good work!

It was the match between the women, and Bre did a great job coming from behind in the Final Spin. And I’m glad Brian solved a puzzle; I was pulling for him. The irony of him not even getting to spin in R1 isn’t lost on me. Brian’s L dud in R3 surprised me, since I thought the second word of the PP was LUXURY. And I guessed TASTY in TTU3, but that was used last season. But I solved R4 with the N’s and the BR with Bre’s picks. This bonus round made me spit out my drink. Yeah, I would’ve been shocked if Bre solved this. Perhaps BGDA would’ve been the perfect combo for her. Also, did Pat just invent a new word in the post-game chat? 😂 My rating: 6

While I typed this recap up late at night on the initial air date, the only thing that I didn’t pay attention to was the specifics of the prize wedge. That’s now been taken care of. Nothing else to say other than that was a nice comeback from Bre in the Speed-Up. BR: I too got it with her picks, but that was some nasty shit the writers pulled on her. 6/10
