I did a little sleuthing, and it appears this project has been in the works for almost a year. Using a registration data lookup tool for "wheeloffortunelive.com", the domain was updated by Sony ("SPDE Domain Names") most recently in July.
As for the tour itself, it does seem like a bit of a grueling schedule assuming that it is not using rotating hosts and makes use of the same production elements for every stop. Maybe it's not as elaborate of a setup as I'm thinking. We will know for sure soon enough. Part of me is hoping that we get clean cuts of the 2021 theme in the promotional material.

Seeing they'll say who will host/do the letters for the tour later, i'll just throw this out here...
I hope Bob Goen gets a shot at hosting this, over 30 years after his daytime run on the TV version ended

Mark L. Walberg is a good choice, I saw him host Price is Right Live in 2016 and he was great doing that. Clay Aiken is an... interesting choice. I wonder if either will be on Celebrity WOF as a way to promote the live show? |

The WOF Live Instagram account also follows model/actress Enya Flack (who served as a guest model on five episodes of Price is Right and four episodes of Deal or No Deal), suggesting she will serve as hostess during some shows. They also follow Paige Davis from TLC's Trading Spaces.

I just saw a photo of the Live version's Puzzle Board over at Instagram. I don't want to post the link to it here without approval, but I'll tell you... the Board is very spot on with its television counterpart. The green screens even use the same traditional logo albeit with the Live banner right below it. |
