From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
Wheel of Fortune
Wheel into 1996
Episode #2423
Here are today's contestants!
Jennifer Grayson is from Brownsburg, IN. She's married with two children (Alexander & Emily). She loves reading, writing, and running.
Melanie Aurentis? is from Little Rock, AR. She won $42,000 yesterday. Apparently, Melanie told the ticket clerk on her flight that she was going to be on Wheel, and he said to pick the O in the bonus round. (He also said he expected a percentage of the winnings, which no.)
Jack Drummond is a retired actor and singer. He said it would take a lot to get him back to singing, like a phone call, for instance. He's from New York. Now, he's a fly fisherman. He says he's been "born again", because fly fishing a religion.
Jennifer solves DANNY DEVITO & RHEA PERLMAN for $2,200.
Round 2 adds a gentleman's WARDROBE from Allen-Edmonds and Perry Ellis, worth $2,450!
Melanie says I'M FEELING A LITTLE WEAK IN THE KNEES, and I would too if I had $9,350.
Jennifer just ends the round with MAINE OREGON TRAIL BLAZERS. She'll just take the $1,150 and the extra grand for knowing PORTLAND.
Pat notes that they added a BIG ISLAND wedge to the wheel over the $200:, which is also where they'll be next month.
Melanie can score some good SUPER BOWL TICKETS with $4,750.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Let's put this round out of its misery. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth... $300.
Jack P (DUD!)
Jennifer M (x2 - $600)
Well, the M made it easy for Jennifer to find the MILKMAN.
Melanie now has a 2-day total of $56,100, and she isn't stopping just yet!
You might want to hold your WEE, since the Ford Ranger, the trip to Greece, and the $25,000 are the only prizes left. Melanie picks the first E.
RSTLN E give almost half the puzzle.
She betrays the advice and goes CDM A...
...and unfortunately, she doesn't have the KNOWLEDGE to win the trip to GREECE. But hey, $56,100, and one more chance to add to that total! It's not all bad!
Pat Chat: Pat asks how Vanna's resolutions are going. He then retorts he doesn't make them. Vanna thinks it's because he always breaks them, but Pat says it's because he considers every day is the first day of the rest of his life.
Pat then talks about how Vanna has trouble with checks. She needs to put 96 for the next 40 checks to get set. Pat, about a month ago, somehow wrote 1982 on a check, and has no clue why.
