From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
BEST FRIENDS WEEK
EPISODE #2429
Here are today's contestants!
Tony Morgan & Ronata Longmire are from Los Angeles. They've been friends for 14 years, when they met at a job right after high school: ushering in a theater. Tony is now a caterer, and Ronata is a production assistant at a special events department in Studio City.
Patricia Ortiz & Chris Theresa have been gal BFFs for a while. Patricia is a finance analyst for a law enforcement agency in LA county. She's single, and came from Washington D.C. to California around four years ago. Chris does financial planning, and she met Patricia in D.C. around 10 years ago. Chris also does Marilyn Monroe and Madonna for corporate events for about 10 years.
Kelli Price & Suzanne Mclaughlin both go to Chico State, and they met at the bookstore. Kelli is a senior, finishing up her degree in liberal studies and psychology, and plans to start grad school in the fall to be a school psychologist. Suzanne is done in December, and is going to start a job with a major hotel corporation.
SIDE BY SIDE, Patricia & Chris takes the first cash this game!
Charlie discusses how the Sheraton El Conquistador Resort in Tuscon, ARIZONA is offering a lovely prize for these besties. The trip is worth $7,250!
The wheel kind of slips out of Patricia & Chris's hands, so Pat resets the wheel before they spin again.
Kelli & Suzanne end up saying TWO TWO MINTS IN ONE, forgetting a TWO. Tony & Ronata says TWO TWO TWO MINTS IN ONE, with three twos, and gets credit for the solve. They get $200 and the extra $1,000 by namedropping CERTS.
Confused yet? Yes? Good.
Tony certainly knows about the BEATLES MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR ALBUM for $12,000 and the SURPRISE: a Jayco camping trailer for both of them worth $11,082!
Person does not always mean Proper Name.
I'm certainly a STAUNCH SUPPORTER of the way Tony & Ronata have been playing!
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Time's running out, so vowels are worth nothing, consonants worth... $800.
Patricia & Chris: N (x2 - $3,800)
Kelli & Suzanne: D (x2 - $1,600, mutter GUARANTEED)
Tony & Ronata: C ($800)
Tony & Ronata can enjoy a CARBONATED SOFT DRINK having secured their victory!
In the Bonus Round, it's either a lovely cruise or a $30k annuity. Out of the second E or the L, the duo choose the L.
The crew accidentally start the timer cue instead of the ding for the single RSTLN E letter in the puzzle.
PCD A give...
...and the first thing that comes out of Tony & Ronata's mouths is HARP, which is enough for the CARRIBEAN CRUISE! This dolphin cruise line pair of cruises is worth $16,852! Their final total is $46,634!
