From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EUROPEAN VACATION
EPISODE #2435
Here are today's contestants!
Shawn Truby is from Norwalk, CA, and is back to try the threepeat. She's already won $56,376, and wants more! Her little sister got her to try to get on Wheel, and it certainly paid off!
Pete Nguyen is from Virginia Beach, VA. He goes to Old Dominion University. He's in grad school studying mathematics and special ed. He's also on the crew team. Pat mentions how they've never had a crew team member before.
David Rieger is from Orlando, but is currently attending Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He likes to row on the crew team, ironically, yet he admits Old Dominion is better.
Good thing Shawn knew about PIERE BROSNAN AS JAMES BOND, because I certainly didn't. I guess that's why she has $6,400 and I don't.
Round 2 adds a trip to The Royal Waikoloan, on the BIG ISLAND worth $5,108!
...and I'm two for two for things I've never heard of. Shawn reads off CHICKEN TETRAZZINI for $500.
David surely knows the NUMBER OF SIDES FORMING A PENTAGON, right?
He's right with 5. He's got $2,850 and the trip under his name.
We've got little time left, so Round 4's starting as a Speed-Up. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth... $500.
Shawn: N (x3 - $1,500)
Pete: D ($500)
David: T (DUD!)
Shawn: H ($2,000)
Pete: P (DUD!)
David: S ($500)
Shawn: M (DUD!)
Pete: L ($1,000)
David: R ($1,000)
Shawn: E (x2)
Pete: G (DUD!)
David: C (DUD!)
Shawn: W (DUD!)
Pete: K (x2 - $2,000)
Looks like Pete reeled in a couple grand - HOOK LINE AND SINKER.
Shawn finishes off with a three-day total of $63,276.
But enough about Shawn, David has a Bonus Round of destiny to solve. The H was taken yesterday, but there's still trips to Rome, Paris, a Saab automobile, and the $25,000. Out of WEEL, he picks the W.
RSTLN E yield...
wow, that's really generous. Too bad for David, BCD A strike out. Good thing he stumbles his way from MOOSEKEEPER to HOUSEKEEPER. He's going to ROME on a $20,000 trip! His final total today is $27,958!
David's dad jumps with joy with his son.
Pat Chat: Have a good weekend, bye!
