From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EPISODE #2444
Here are today's contestants!
Julie Hill is from San Diego. She has three more classes to finish her degree in liberal studies, which she admits is completely general, and she has no clue what she's going to do after that. She's a member of Pi Beta Phi, and brought two of her sorority sisters in the audience. Pat asks what she wanted to be if she could have any job, and she says wedding coordinator.
Kathy Rainey is back again. She's from San Antonio. She won yesterday due to a lucky $5,000 win, and wants more! She mentioned yesterday how she had five generations in her family; she has two living grandmothers, and because Kathy's a grandmother herself, that's the five.
David Gangwer is from Kingsville, TX. He's spent 17 years as a Navy pilot, and is second in command of Strike Training Squadron 22. He's married to Navy wife Kelly and has two sons, Chad & Jason.
It's a smaller round, but David salvages $1,000 from this MAHOGANY DESK.
Round 2 adds a trip to the Cariari Resort and Country Club in COSTA RICA worth $2,432!
David solves ALL THE NEWS THAT'S FIT TO PRINT for $1,400. Can he identify the slogan for an extra grand?
The New York Times, yes he can!
Julie gets on the board thanks to the REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION.
A BEVERLY HILLS shopping spree worth over $8,000 is added to the wheel.
MMM, MOTOR OIL & VINEGAR sounds delicious! In all seriousness, Julie wins with $1,350 and a SURPRISE: a trip to Greece via Epirotiki Cruises. The trip is worth $10,406!
Kathy still leaves with the $5,000 she won yesterday.
Copying and pasting what's for offer today:
A trip to Perto Vallarta and a 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager, a package worth over $27,000!
A trip to the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, worth $23,000!
A trip to Arizona and a Saab convertible, totalling almost $43,000!
The Rialta Motorhome worth $41,000!
and the $25,000 cash!
We're still looking for a Bonus Round winner. Julie picks the L.
Obviously RSTLN E won't do much, but how much?
BMH A... actually help.
That was a critical M for Julie. She says TUMMY immediately for the ARIZONA & SAAB. With the trip at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort & Spa, and the Saab 900sc Turbo Convertible, the package is worth $42,990!
Julie now has $56,996 in cash and prizes! She'll be back tomorrow to defend.
Pat Chat: Tomorrow is Groundhogs [sic] Day. Pat mentions that we'll know if there's more winter, and also they're good eating also!
