From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EPISODE #2478
Here are today's contestants!
Vicki Brit is from Chespeake, VA. She's an aerospace engineer. She's been married to Wade, and Wade and her parents are in the audience. She enjoys skiing and snowboarding having grown up in the mountains. She's pursuing a PHD.
Jim Stevens is from Burbank, CA. Yesterday, he won $5,750 in cash. He's a screenplay writer, with a little success, with one in development
Rick Kurt Patrick is from San Diego. He was at a contestant search at the Handlery Hotel in San Diego. He's a self-employed graphic artist, and shouts out her five-year-old daughter, Riley. He also does competition kite flying.
Wheel's lying to you, Rick. They say WE HONOR ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS, but they only accept $250 of their own credit for vowels.
Round 2 adds a painting: from Amanda Watt's "California Dream" collection, "Malibu. This ART is priced at $4,600!
Thanks to FARRAH FAWCETT IN CHARLIE'S ANGELS, Rick has another $4,850.
What am I doing? IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS AS USUAL. Vicki gets on the board with $3,150.
People does not always mean proper names.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Time's running out. Vowels are worth nothing, consonants worth... $400.
Rick: L (DUD!)
Vicki: M ($800 + ART | guesses MARCHING BAND)
Jim: C ($400)
I lazily thought Vicki had it, but Jim is right with MARIACHI BAND to avoid getting shut out this game. (He originally pronounces it MARACHI BAND, and had to guess again for it to count).
Jim leaves with a 2-day total of $6,150.
Rick now can win one of these prizes:
From Wheel's Treasure Chest, gold and silver bars worth $25,000!
A theme park adventure worth almost $15,000!
A $20,000 annuity!
The $25,000!
Out of WHEEL, Rick picks the W.
RSTLN E give...
DGP O... are worthless. Rick tries to think of something with BLIND, but can't cash this BLANK CHECK for the PRECIOUS METALS.
However, he's won $5,800, and will be here tomorrow!
Pat Chat: Pat mentions that spring is almost here. Among other things, Pat thought he saw the first spring robin, but it turned out to just be a pigeon with a chaffed breast.
