From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EPISODE #2485
Here are today's contestants!
Janet Michelson Lennox is from Las Vegas, but is originally from somewhere else. She's won $17,090 in cash and prizes!
Jim Roory is from Memphis, TN. He was an airline customer service agent. He's now retired and writing songs. He has two kids (Robin & Jim).
Glenn Jacobs is from Moreno Valley, CA. He just got a job at one of the largest investment firms on Wall Street. He's trying to finish his degree at Cal State LA in speech and communication. He has a wife (Jenny) and a one-year-old daughter (Jamie Lie)
Pat mentions that they celebrated a staffer's birthday earlier, and they handed out cake, so the crowd is all sugared up.
Maybe with all the cheering that's going on, the current staff should feed cake to the audience every day.
DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT, but Glenn has $1,250 to his name.
Because we're too American to say Celsius, Janet solves FAHRENHEIT & CENTIGRADE for $2,700.
Janet solve VICE PRESIDENT UNDER GEORGE BUSH. For an extra grand, can she name him?
After of bit of hesitation, she can with Dan Quayle!
A $7,000 WAVERIDER is added to the wheel.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Final Spin time! Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth... $5,000!
Glenn: D (DUD!)
Janet: G (DUD!)
Jim: P (DUD!)
Glenn: J (DUD!)
Janet: B (x2 - $10,000)
Jim: H (DUD!)
Glenn: Y (DUD!)
Janet: U (x1)
Jim: K (DUD!)
Glenn: F (DUD!)
Janet: W (DUD!)
Jim: Q (DUD!)
Glenn: V (DUD!)
Janet: O (x1)
It's a shame we didn't get to hear the legendary two Z's, but going for vowels has certainly paid off for Janet, as she solves BRONZE BUST SIZE for $10,000!
Janet has a 2-day total of $36,802, and she'll hopefully win more in the Bonus Round!
A piano, a Mustang, a Taurus, and the cash are on offer. From HEEL, she picks the L.
RSTLN E...
Janet's CDM A gives one letter only.
She's close with BEAR CUB and BEAR RUG, but can't give Pat a big BEAR HUG for the TAURUS, again. Still, $36,802
Pat Chat: For April Fools' Day (which is this upcoming Monday), Pat reminisces about the time Pat and Vanna jokingly said they were getting married. They still get Crock-Pots to this day.
