From the Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
TROPICAL PARADISE
EPISODE #2660
End of the month, and also time for another round of Friday Finalists!
Pat Mooney is from Truckee, CA, and won $15,550 in cash. He might take a trip with that money.
Mark Misch is from Santa Monica, CA, and yesterday, he won $21,450. He recently had two cars die in the span of four months, so cash would help that.
Nancy Cope is from Provo, UT. She won a catamaran, a BMW, and lots of cash: $49,670 altogether.
Nancy can probably hire a GOURMET CHEF with $2,150?
It seems like they deducted the price of Mark's vowel from Nancy. I don't think this is ever caught?
Round 2 adds a trip to ST. THOMAS at Bluebeard's Castle Hotel. It's a trip worth $4,590!
Nancy says WHERE EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR NAME, which doesn't fit the board.
Nancy finally figures out her mistake and says WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME. I'm sure she knew the show it came from; heck, it's even a bonus question, and correctly identifies it's from CHEERS, but she must of just recalled the lyrics incorrectly.
Pat claims the big jackpot because PACKERS WIN SUPER BOWL IN NEW ORLEANS.
This episode has been FULL OF MYSTERY AND INTRIGUE, and that's got him another $7,950 and the St. Thomas trip.
Pat's still noting the punctuation all this week.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
We had time, but not much time. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth $800.
Pat calls the puzzle a Phrase after giving the final spin. He corrects to Thing after the second consonant call.
b]Nancy: T ($800)[/b]
Pat: S ($800)
Mark: N ($800)
Nancy: R ($1,600)
Pat: H ($1,600)
Mark: L ($1,600)
Nancy: O (DUD!)
Pat: D (DUD!)
Mark: M (x2 - $3,200)
Mark solves MINER'S HELMET to avoid getting shut out.
They still have a BMW left, a trip to Tahiti, a trip to Fiji, and the $25,000.
W H E E L
RSTLN E gives two letters...
MDC A... just don't work again. Pat tries FLIER, PAGER, WARMER, GARDER, BIGGER, and PULLER, but isn't high in FIBER for the trip to TAHITI.
I wouldn't be complaining though, if I was walking away with $45,740 in cash and prizes.
Pat Chat: She's been wearing Karen Pane clothes to hide her pregnancy. She also talks about how she's used to turning letters instead of touching, and Pat applauds the staff for getting it to work.
