From the Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
AFRICA & EGYPT
EPISODE #2661
Here are today's contestants!
Bob Mullan is from Reno, NV. He was found at a contestant search at the Reno Hilton. He's a liquidator, who deals with closeout and surplus merchandise brokering. He's married, with three children, and a granddaughter.
Chad Demer is from Los Angeles, CA, born and raised. He's a student at Cal State Long Beach studying marketing. He works in the health care field, and he loves sports.
Emily Mangrich is from St. Louis, MO. She goes to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She studies physical therapy in a six-year master's program, and she'll get an undergrad in psychology. Outside of that, she volunteers at a house for HIV positive and drug addicted babies.
Perhaps Bob is the only one old enough to be KISSING THE BLARNEY STONE.
Roudn 2 adds a trip to Ceasar's Palace, LAS VEGAS, worth $3,226!
Emily reads out TENNIS MANNERS OF CONTENTS for $1,150. Can she find the link between the three to make that $3,150?
TABLE, she can!
Chad orders some BAKED CUSTARD SPRINKLED WITH NUTMEG to make the game even closer.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Bob might only get one more letter before he needs to cash in big. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth... $900.
Bob: G (DUD!)
Chad: L ($900)
Emily: P (x3 - $2,700)
Bob: Y ($10,650*)
Chad: S ($1,800)
Emily: H (x2 - $4,500)
The score operators never add the $900 to Bob's score. It doesn't matter, but it's odd they didn't.
Emily might say I WHISTLE A HAPPY TUNE-UP on the way to the bonus round!
Emily might be able to win:
A trip to Egypt worth over $15,000!
An African Safari worth $29,000!
A Land Rover worth over $36,000!
A precious gems package worth $30,000!
...and $25,000 cash!
W H E E L
RSTLN E give two letters...
MHC O gives one more...
...and after a second to look at the used letter board, Emily solves WHALE, which is what she will be with some PRECIOUS GEMS! From the mines of Borsheims, the selection of gems, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, garnets, tanzanite, and aquamarine is worth $30,000!
Emily's school friend Kelly hugs to celebrate $37,650 in cash and gems!
Pat Chat: Vanna mentions that it's almost time to plant! She plants tomatoes and squash. Pat says he wants something new this year, and after Vanna prompts him, he says duck.
